Wincomm and Portwell Group to Present Joint Medical AI Computing Portfolio at MEDICA 2026

Wincomm, a Portwell company, will join Portwell Taiwan and Portwell Europe at MEDICA 2026 in Düsseldorf from November 16 to 19, 2026, presenting a shared medical AI computing portfolio at Hall 12, Stand C76. Aktien reported the joint showcase on November 3, 2026.

The joint booth combines embedded computing, medical All-in-One PCs and portable devices across a wider range of healthcare applications. Wincomm and the Portwell group said the presentation centers on application-specific computing that combines mobility, graphics acceleration, clinical integration and serviceability for each care setting.

The demonstration portfolio covers six application areas. Mobile medical features the WMP-22U/24U models built on energy-efficient Intel Core Ultra computing. GPU-accelerated applications use the WMP-22S/24S platforms, while the medical box area features the MEDS-7081, 7082 and 5210 embedded computing options. Operating room applications use the WMP-22T/24T/27T-PIS AIO platforms, point-of-care uses the WMP-109 and MEDS models, and portable medical uses the WMT-101 for handheld information access and barcode scanning.

Portwell Taiwan and Portwell Europe are participating to bring product engineering expertise and regional support to medical equipment manufacturers and system integrators exploring computing architectures. Portwell previously introduced the PCOM-B887, a COM-HPC Client Type Size C module built around Intel Core Ultra 200S Series processors with an integrated NPU, according to eeNews Europe.

Wincomm's Medical Computing Record

According to akta.pro company records, Wincomm launched the WMP-2xU Smart Mobile Medical Workstation in 2026 with on-device AI processing at 22.5 TOPS, a 12+ hour hot-swappable battery and PVC-free, recyclable packaging. Wincomm lists Intel as a strategic technology partner providing processors for its medical and industrial computing platforms, and Microsoft as a technology partner providing operating system platforms.

HP announced a collaboration with Infinity.inc on November 1, 2026 to double concurrent AI workloads on its ZGX Fury AI workstation using NVIDIA hardware, Yahoo reported.
