Sigenergy launched the SigenCube C&I BESS, a commercial and industrial energy storage system, on October 27, 2026, according to the Financial Post. The company said the system combines space-saving density, quiet operation and grid-forming capabilities for businesses moving to cleaner energy.

What the SigenCube C&I BESS Includes

The SigenCube is built for commercial and industrial facilities that face grid fluctuations, weak infrastructure and outages. Sigenergy said the system delivers 0ms load-side disruption to keep critical industrial loads running without interruption. It also handles 100% three-phase imbalance under complex load conditions, fault ride-through during voltage sags and swells, and MWh-level black start without external grid support.

On maintenance, the SigenCube uses a sealed cooling loop that delivers a 10-year coolant life, which Sigenergy said significantly reduces scheduled replacements. Pack-level active balancing delivers a 7A balancing current, keeping battery strings uniformly balanced over years of operation and eliminating the need for periodic on-site SOC calibration.

Safety features span the pack and system levels. Each pack carries 40 NTC temperature sensors monitoring 64 cells, a density of 0.625 NTC per cell, alongside pressure relief valves, electrical insulation sheets, crash frames, high-strength crossbeams, leakage detection and optional aerosol fire suppression available for select regions. At the system level, the SigenCube integrates top explosion vents, smoke and heat detectors, emergency fans, cabinet-level aerosol suppression and a water firefighting interface, supported by 8 layers of overcurrent protection.

Sigenergy said the SigenCube "sets a new benchmark for the sector, empowering businesses globally to accelerate their transition toward a cleaner, more resilient, and sustainable energy future."

Sigenergy's Storage Line and Global Reach

Sigenergy's product line has expanded from residential systems into heating and utility-scale storage, according to akta.pro company records. In June 2026 the company unveiled the complete home energy ecosystem at Intersolar Europe 2026, including SigenStor Neo, the SigenFlux heat pump, Sigen EVAC G2 and SigenMate, alongside the SigenTerra utility-scale storage system paired with a 506kW PV inverter. The same records show a global market share of 28.6% in the stackable distributed energy storage system segment as of 2024, ranked No. 1 globally by Frost & Sullivan.

Earlier Sigenergy Launches in Asia

Sigenergy unveiled the SigenStor NEO energy storage solution in Pakistan on October 9, 2026, at a Karachi event, GlobeNewswire reported. The all-in-one system integrates control, generation, storage and backup, with up to 200% peak power output and zero load-side disruption. On October 15, 2026, Sigenergy launched its brand in Sri Lanka, presenting smart energy solutions and signing partnerships with Storex Renewables, Penta Prime and Solar Therm.

Sigenergy's Malaysia Showcase

Sigenergy made its third appearance at Malaysia's IGEM 2026, showcasing AI-driven energy solutions and signing MOUs with Milieu and YT Energy, GlobeNewswire reported. The company presented SigenStor Neo, SigenStack and utility solutions including the Sigen PV 500H1 inverter and SigenTerra BESS.
