Agilysys Lifts Guidance on Record Hotel Sales

Subscription revenue rose 32.6% year over year as properties adopted broader suites of software, according to the call. Customers purchasing property management system software bought an average of 9.3 products per deal.

Sales in the domestic Hotels, Resorts and Cruise ships segment jumped 33% year over year, setting a quarterly record. A major multi-property competitive replacement featuring 15 add-on software modules highlighted gains from expanded sales capacity.

"This was the best quarter on record by a fair distance for sales in the domestic HRC, Hotels, Resorts and Cruise ships vertical," Chief Executive Officer Ramesh Srinivasan said.

Agilysys completed an artificial intelligence common framework during the quarter to manage data governance, privacy tokenization and compute model costs. "The new and modern code base of each of our software solutions and the very presence of a product ecosystem that no competitor matches up with today have allowed us to make AI-based features a seamless part of the product sets," Srinivasan said.
