Pudu Robotics unveiled the PUDU TOMO S Series, a robotic lawn mower line built around a self-sharpening blade system, at a product launch event on November 3, 2026. The series comes in three versions for lawns from 1,500 m² to 5,000 m², and Pudu Robotics said sales are expected in early spring 2027. PR Newswire published the announcement.

How the TOMO S Series Sharpens Its Blades

The SharpLoop Self-Sharpening System automatically sharpens the mower's rotary blades at the charging station when needed, in a tool-free cycle the company describes as mow-return-sharpen-repeat. Pudu Robotics said the cycle helps preserve blade sharpness and cutting performance over time and reduces routine blade maintenance and replacement.

The mower's Lift-Cut-Discharge System uses dual 636 W high-torque motors driving the blades at up to 6,000 RPM, with aerodynamic high-lift blades and a rear discharge channel to guide clippings away. Zero Edge Cutting combines an offset cutting deck with intelligent side sensing and a responsive side bumper, and 180° rear-wheel zero-turn steering enables tight turns.

All-wheel drive uses four independent high-torque hub motors for traction on slopes up to 45°, a floating cutting deck follows ground contours, and independent suspension supports obstacle crossing up to 6 cm. Triple-Sense Navigation combines 360° LiDAR, AI Vision and network RTK for centimeter-level positioning without a local RTK reference station, and One-Tap Auto Mapping plans routes from the first run without boundary wires.

"Bringing robotics home means giving people more time to enjoy everyday life," said Felix Zhang, CEO of PUDU. "With PUDU TOMO, we are applying years of commercial robotics experience to lawn care, combining reliable performance with automation that extends from mowing to blade maintenance."

Pudu Robotics' Commercial Robot Business

Pudu Robotics' move into home robotics builds on its commercial business, according to company records on akta.pro. The company launched its PuduFM 1.0 robot foundation model and PuduAgent general-purpose embodied agent platform in June 2026, anchoring the "One Brain, Multiple Embodiments" architecture that the TOMO launch cites as the foundation for its expansion into the home. The same records show a June 2026 partnership with ICE to deploy autonomous cleaning robots across 600 Tesco Express convenience stores in the UK.

Earlier Pudu Robotics Launches and Partnerships

On November 2, 2026, Lawnamation announced a partnership with PUDU Robotics to introduce three commercial robotic mowers, the GT3, GT5 and GT7, for the Upper Midwest, EIN Presswire reported. On October 30, 2026, Pudu Robotics opened its European headquarters in Neuss, Germany, combining sales, demonstrations, training, warehousing and after-sales services, Retail Technology Innovation Hub reported. On August 18, 2026, Pudu Robotics launched the PUDU MP2000, an AI-native pallet handling robot with a 2,000 kg payload capacity for autonomous material transport in industrial logistics, The Hindu reported.

TOMO S Pricing and Availability

Pudu Robotics directed customers to its PUDU HOME page for pricing and regional availability and to subscribe for product news and launch updates. The company said sales of the TOMO S Series are expected in early spring 2027.
