Appy Pie announced its Agentic AI App Builder on November 3, 2026, a platform that uses four specialised AI agents to plan, design, build and test iOS and Android apps, with backend services, a database, user accounts and hosting included. PR Newswire carried the announcement.
How Appy Pie's Four Agents Build an App
Users start with a written or spoken request and can attach files or screenshots for context. A brief such as building a CRM for a sales team with customer records, a deal pipeline and individual logins starts a coordinated workflow. The Planning Agent asks clarifying questions and proposes features, screens and data structure, and the user approves the plan before building begins.
The Design Agent creates screens, layouts and colours, using a logo or website as a brand reference where one is provided. The Build Agent generates the app in React Native for iOS and Android and connects it to the built-in backend, database and user accounts. The Testing Agent runs automated checks and applies fixes before presenting a preview, which users can open on their own phone through a QR code and refine in ordinary language.
"This is our biggest product announcement in a decade," said Abhinav Girdhar, Founder and CEO of Appy Pie. "We want a business owner to explain an idea and have an AI team help turn it into an app. The user sets the direction and approves the plan. Our agents handle the work of designing, building and testing, with the infrastructure already in place."
The builder supports projects including CRMs, customer portals, admin dashboards, online stores, community apps, media services and 2D games, with features such as push notifications, hosted checkout, media and a web-based admin panel. Teams already using Firebase or Supabase can connect those services, and the platform supports workflows through Claude and Claude Code alongside more than 60 integrations through Model Context Protocol. The builder is available at appypie.com, with plans, billing terms and publishing options listed on its pricing page; users submit apps through their own Apple and Google developer accounts, and app-store developer fees are separate.
Appy Pie's Earlier AI Builder Releases
According to akta.pro company records, Appy Pie launched an AI App Generator in April 2026 that converts plain-English prompts into native Android and iOS apps in under 60 seconds with an auto-generated backend, database and APIs. The same records list an AI Website Builder that month that generates multi-page, content-populated websites from a single text prompt in under 60 seconds, and an AI Assistant in June 2026 that lets users design and manage applications through natural-language commands.
Patent and Enterprise Work Before the Launch
PR Newswire reported in September 2026 that Appy Pie received U.S. Patent No. 12,737,158 B2 for its AI app builder that creates apps via natural conversation, covering three accessibility modes including a voice-only Blind Mode. In May 2026, EIN Presswire reported that Appy Pie Enterprise offered AI-powered no-code app development for Android and iOS with more than 500 integrations and GDPR, CCPA, SOC2 and HIPAA compliance.
