Thunder Gold Corp. added Pierre A.J. Julien to its Board of Directors, the company announced on November 2, 2026. Julien brings 40 years of mining industry leadership experience, including service as Executive Director and Chair of DRA Americas Inc. from 2018 until his retirement from that role earlier this year. Aktien published the announcement.

Julien's Mining Career and Board Role

Julien's management background covers finance, talent acquisition, project development, project execution, technological innovation, plant operations and mergers and acquisitions, according to the announcement. That experience spans mining projects of all scales across North and South America and Europe. He has served as Chair of the Canadian Mineral Processors Society and as President of the Canadian Institute of Mines and Metallurgy. He was also welcomed to the Board of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Wes Hanson, President and CEO, said Julien's knowledge of project financing, design, engineering, development, construction and operation will be valuable as Thunder Gold advances and de-risks the Tower Mountain property. "Pierre is a guy who gets things done, understands project risk and brings a skill set and professional network capable of addressing any challenge," Hanson said. Julien said he has known Hanson for over 25 years and described Tower Mountain as shaping up to potentially become a generational gold asset, citing its location 40.0 kilometres from Thunder Bay, Ontario, a low strip ratio, a year-round access road, and power lines and rail already at the property.

Thunder Gold's Earlier Board Appointments

According to akta.pro company records, Thunder Gold appointed Glenn Nolan, former Chief of the Missanabie Cree First Nation and past President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and Olympic champion Donovan Bailey to its Board of Directors in April 2026. The same records show Nigel Lees transitioned to lead a newly formed Advisory Board at that time. The company's leadership listing includes Hanson as President and CEO, with Nolan, Bailey and Julien as directors and Lees leading the Advisory Board.

Tower Mountain Drilling Before the Appointment

Thunder Gold reported infill drilling at Tower Mountain intersecting continuous gold mineralization averaging 1.178 g/t Au over 102.0 metres in hole TM26-221 in October 2026, Aktien reported. In August 2026, Yahoo reported diamond drill results from the Bench Target highlighting hole TM21-107X, which intersected 228.5 metres averaging 0.557 g/t Au. The company said in August 2026 that Hanson would deliver a live corporate presentation on the Tower Mountain Gold Project at the OTCQB Virtual Investor Conference on August 6, 2026, according to Newsfile.
