Groz-Beckert will present innovations across knitting, weaving, nonwovens, sewing, tufting and spinning at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 in Hall 4.1, Booth D41, B2B Marketplace reported on November 2, 2026. The Groz-Beckert showcase includes energy-saving needles, advanced felting and sewing needles, carding wires and an AI-powered WeChat chatbot for knitting customers in China.

Groz-Beckert's LCmax Needles and WeChat Chatbot

In Circular Knitting, the energy-saving LCmax needles take center stage. Their wave-shaped shank geometry is designed to deliver energy efficiency, reduced friction and easy handling, with maximum performance at minimal energy consumption.

Flat Knitting features two special-application needles. The SAN TT is designed for knitting particularly tight loops and is suited to technical and medical textiles. The new SAN FY is engineered for processing uneven effect yarns and aims to ensure a flawless fabric appearance with demanding materials and intricate designs.

Groz-Beckert demonstrates fine-gauge technology with SINOTEX through a jointly presented knitted collar. Equipped with the spring-loaded latch needle Vosa Spec. 89.50-45 G016, the application shows the production of finer fabrics and tighter stitch loops for high-quality collars and sweater components. The Legwear product group presents its dur needles for sock and fine hosiery machines.

In Warp Knitting, Groz-Beckert presents the patented compound needle Spec. 51/43.36 G 101 for fine-gauge elastic fabrics. Its reinforced plastic part provides enhanced stability, while minimal tolerances support uniform, high-quality fabrics.

Groz-Beckert will also introduce a new AI-powered WeChat chatbot for Knitting customers in China. The digital service lets customers access product information and make product and price enquiries directly through WeChat, using natural language interaction to provide quick and relevant responses.

Groz-Beckert's Nonwovens, Sewing and Spinning Lines

In Nonwovens, the advanced Litespeed felting needle is designed to significantly reduce insertion and removal times, simplifying handling and increasing operational efficiency. The newly developed CB-Barb felting needle will also be part of the showcase, alongside the specialized Mounting Service for Nonwovens Carding and SiroLock plus wires from the InLine card clothing family.

Sewing focuses on special application needles SAN. SAN 5.2 is suited to technical textiles such as airbags, and SAN 6 ensures high process reliability when sewing woven fabrics such as denim. Both variants feature the GEBEDUR coating for protection against wear, particularly in the point area. The slim SAN 10 and even slimmer SAN 10 XS are designed for extremely fine materials. The Litespeed needle for heat-intensive sewing applications is also presented, along with the "Groz-Beckert Sewing" video series and the Needle Finder in the Sewing Customer Portal.

Tufting presents the Gauge Part system for tufted floor coverings such as carpets, bath mats and artificial turf. For spinning customers, Groz-Beckert introduces a new energy-saving maintenance-free cylinder wire with increased service life, higher card output and lower maintenance costs, alongside further developments of stationary flats and revolving tops.

Groz-Beckert's LCmax Record and Global Reach

Groz-Beckert showcased LCmax energy-saving needle technology, with up to 20% energy reduction, at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore, according to akta.pro company records.
