Secardeo GmbH has released certPort, a web application for automatic certificate enrollment for servers, clients, devices and users through the ACME, SCEP and EST protocols, PRLog reported on November 2, 2026. The product runs as an Azure App Service in the customer's cloud tenant or on-premises on a virtual machine.
How Secardeo certPort Handles Enrollment
certPort connects to public and private certificate authorities and supports the standard enrollment protocols with classical and post-quantum cryptography. With the new Secardeo certVault CA, cloud-based enrollment for Intune-managed devices is possible. When connected to Microsoft ADCS, the company said the outdated and insecure NDES service can be seamlessly replaced, while also providing ACME-based enrollment for server certificates. IoT devices managed via Azure IoT Hub, for example, can be issued with mTLS certificates.
Key features include auto-enrollment and revocation of machine certificates via SCEP, ACME or EST from the customer's CA, advanced validation and security features, and deployment as an Azure App Service or on-premises. certPort integrates with Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL, Azure IoT Hub and Device Provisioning Service. It supports multiple certificate templates with public and private CAs, basic certificate management, configurable e-mail notifications, and auditing via Application Insights and an immutable audit log.
"The automated enrollment of certificates for all types of machines is essential in view of the massively increasing number of devices and rapidly decreasing certificate validity periods," said Dr. Gunnar Jacobson, founder and CEO of Secardeo.
certPort is part of the Secardeo TOPKI platform, which includes a series of components for complete automated certificate lifecycle management. Secardeo, founded in 2001 and headquartered in Ismaning, Germany, builds the TOPKI platform for automated X.509 digital certificate lifecycle management across Microsoft, public CA and private CA environments, according to akta.pro company records. The company's certEP product is used by global corporations for the auto-enrollment of hundreds of thousands of user and computer certificates from non-Microsoft CAs, the same records show.
Secardeo's Earlier Azure Moves
Secardeo released certEntra v2 in July 2026, an Azure Web App for automated Entra ID certificate enrollment featuring the first market implementation of post-quantum cryptography (hybrid ML-KEM/RSA) for long-term key protection, according to the same records. In April 2026, the company expanded TOPKI into Microsoft Azure and Entra ID cloud territory with the certEntra platform, integrating with Intune, Azure Key Vault and Exchange Online.
Secardeo lists Die Netz-Werker Systemmanagement und Datennetze AG, GlobalTrust and IDpendant GmbH as partners, the same records show. Die Netz-Werker is a nationwide IT system house in Germany that implements and deploys Secardeo solutions in customer environments. GlobalTrust provides digital certificates and cryptographic services, with over two decades of experience in cryptography. IDpendant is the market-leading system integrator for strong authentication and client security in Germany, designing tailored solutions for customers.
