Nordnet will begin operating in Germany on November 16, opening its savings and investment platform to customers on its early-access waiting list before a full market launch in early 2027, the company said in a news.cision.com announcement. The Stockholm-based digital broker is Nordnet, a pan-Nordic platform for self-directed saving and investing.
What German Early-Access Customers Get
The first phase covers securities accounts, a savings account, stock trading, funds, ETFs and Nordnet Social, a digital investment community with over half a million members. Registration for early access has been open on the German website since the beginning of October and runs until the beginning of January 2027. Nordnet said it will test and further develop its products with these early users.
All account types and automated regular savings plans are free of charge. Deposits in the savings account earn 2 percent interest, and a flat fee of €2.95 per order applies to all securities transactions, covering all execution costs. Customers who sign up before January receive free trading for 12 months and 2.5 percent interest on savings accounts for six months.
"Germany is the next logical step in Nordnet's growth strategy," said Rasmus Järborg, CEO of Nordnet. Arno Walter, Country Manager for Nordnet Germany, said customers "always know exactly what they are paying for, with transparent pricing and no hidden clauses."
Nordnet's Nordic Scale Behind the Entry
Nordnet served 2,428,600 customers as of Q1 2026, growing 12 percent annually, according to akta.pro company records. Total savings capital stood at 1,214 billion Swedish kronor in the same quarter, and total trades reached 18,816,900. The company was founded in 1996 and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Earlier Nordnet Moves in 2026
In June 2026, Nordnet Fonder launched Nordnet Tyskland, described in the same records as the first German index fund on the Nordic market, as assets under management for Nordnet's own funds passed SEK 100 billion. In October 2026, Nordnet appointed Britta Rosenqvist as Sweden CEO with a start date of December 1, Dagens industri reported; she previously held a top executive role at Swedbank. Also in October, Nordnet gave notice of early redemption of all outstanding AT1 capital notes with a total nominal amount of SEK 600 million, with a redemption date of 16 November 2026.
Nordnet's 2027 German Rollout
From January 2027, the Nordnet website and app will be available to the whole German market, and the offering will expand to include pension savings accounts. The early-access registration window closes at the beginning of January 2027.
