Finago has appointed Jarkko Iitiä as Managing Director for Finland, effective November 1, 2026, the company said in a news.cision.com announcement. Iitiä reports to Group CEO Lars Engbork and joins Finago's group leadership team.

Iitiä's Mandate at Finago Finland

Iitiä brings more than ten years of experience in the Finnish financial management software market. At Visma Netvisor he led sales and the Products and Markets business unit and built Visma Solutions Oy's accounting office channel. Most recently he was CEO of accounting office Tonava Group Oy.

Engbork said Iitiä knows the Finnish market from both sides. "Jarkko knows the Finnish market from both sides of the table: he has been part of building software for accounting offices, and he has run one," Engbork said. "He knows where the industry is heading and how we can best support our customers and accounting offices, and he has turned that into growth with partners before. That is exactly what we need in Finland now."

Iitiä's stated priority is for Finago to lead in introducing AI to accounting offices and businesses in a way that is sustainable for both people and businesses. He said effective leadership starts with ensuring people understand why their work matters, and he emphasized ownership, open dialogue and clear, measurable goals.

"The financial management industry is going through its third major disruption," Iitiä said. "Moving from paper to electronic took about ten years, and process automation, ecosystem and better usability another ten. With AI, more will change in the next few years than in the past twenty. I want to be part of shaping that change, and I believe Finago has the right approach: AI should give people better tools, not push them aside."

Finago said accounting offices remain its most important partners and that it develops solutions in close collaboration with them. The company integrates AI into tools used by company users and accountants, embedding agents and skills directly into the software.

Finago's Earlier Leadership Change

The same records list Engbork as Group CEO alongside Chief Technology and Product Officer Sakari Jorma, Chief Information Security Officer Mikko Sauranen and Chief HR & Sustainability Officer Anni Kivisilta.
