OKKAMI has introduced a self-service kiosk that lets hotel guests complete check-in and check-out, scan identification documents, collect or return room key cards and pay through an integrated gateway, the company said in an announcement published by EIN Presswire on November 1, 2026.
How the OKKAMI Kiosk Handles Arrivals
The OKKAMI Self-Service KIOSK connects directly with a hotel's Property Management System, bringing guest services together through a single interface. Guests use an iPad-based screen to complete supported check-in and check-out procedures independently.
Integrated document scanning covers passports and IDs for guest identification and registration. The kiosk dispenses room key cards on arrival and accepts their return at departure, and guests can review outstanding charges, retrieve folios and complete payments where supported.
OKKAMI said the kiosk is designed to cut repetitive front-desk work, reduce queues at peak periods and free front-desk teams for personalised service. The company positions it for hotels modernising reception operations and for guests who value speed and independence.
The kiosk extends OKKAMI's Connected Guest Journey Platform beyond mobile and digital services, working alongside its mobile applications, contactless services, mobile room access, digital communication and AI-powered guest engagement tools. "Our objective is to help hotels simplify operations without compromising the guest experience," Sally Keen said in the announcement. "By connecting self-service technology directly with hotel systems and operational workflows, we are giving properties greater flexibility in how they manage arrivals and departures, while allowing their teams to focus on delivering genuine hospitality."
OKKAMI's Earlier Product and Partner Moves
According to akta.pro company records, OKKAMI launched a custom guest experience app for the Mulia Hotels portfolio in June 2026, covering five properties including Hotel Mulia Senayan, Mulia Resort Bali and Mulia Villas Bali, with multilingual support across English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian. In May 2026 the company launched Web App 2.0, a browser-based guest experience solution delivered by QR code without a download, which it said laid groundwork for upcoming Digital Wallet integrations.
In April 2026, OKKAMI announced a strategic integration partnership with Shiji, connecting its guest engagement platform with Shiji's cloud-native Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS to unify guest data and in-property transactions. The same records list technology partnerships with Oracle Hospitality and Mews Systems for PMS integration and two-way data synchronization.
Security Certification and Summit Invitation
OKKAMI achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification in August 2026, which it said strengthened its enterprise-grade security and governance for hospitality and provided independent assurance of its information security risk management, EIN Presswire reported. In September 2026, Schneider Electric invited OKKAMI to exhibit at the Innovation Summit Middle East & Africa 2026 in Abu Dhabi on September 15-16, 2026, according to EIN Presswire.
The company's own site describes its platform for hotels, resorts and property operators. OKKAMI said it supports more than 700 hotel properties and connects with over 75 technology integrations.
