Baystate Health Completes Integration of Baystate Mercy Hospital and 45 Medical Groups

Baystate Health has integrated Baystate Mercy Hospital, its joint venture affiliates and 45 medical group entities in Massachusetts into its system, the company announced November 1, 2026. The integration coincided with the launch of a modernized Oracle Health electronic health record across the system and at Baystate Mercy Hospital, according to PR Newswire.

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit integrated healthcare system and the largest in western Massachusetts, serving more than 800,000 people across western New England. Baystate Mercy Hospital joins the system with its affiliated clinics and medical practices in Springfield, Chicopee and Agawam.

Over the past seven months, Baystate Health prepared to integrate the hospital and its affiliated clinics, including bringing care teams onto a unified electronic health record system and launching MyBaystate Health, a new patient portal. Patients will continue to receive care from their existing care team members at the same locations, with no impact to insurance coverage, and there are no changes to contact phone numbers for the hospital or clinics.

Baystate Mercy Hospital's Emergency Department is open 24/7 and is now staffed by Baystate Health's board-certified emergency medicine faculty. The Sister Caritas Cancer Center has also been integrated into Baystate Health's cancer program.
