Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his Jean-Georges Management will launch three dining concepts at 70 Hudson Yards, a 52-story tower under construction, the New York Post reported. The venues total roughly 10,000 square feet and include a lobby restaurant, a takeout concept and event space. Deloitte will anchor the tower with more than 800,000 square feet.

Inside the 70 Hudson Yards Dining Plan

Jean-Georges Management operates more than 60 restaurants in 14 global locations, according to the New York Post. In New York City, its venues include flagship Jean-Georges, Nougatine, Four Twenty Five and four casual places branded as ABC in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The three new venues at 70 Hudson Yards comprise an intimate 2,000-square-foot, 50-seat lobby restaurant; a 3,000-square-foot "ABC to Go" concept, also on the ground floor; and over 5,000 square feet of event and pre-event space on the 46th floor. Vongerichten will also manage a catering program for office tenants.

"We look forward to bringing these new dining experiences to the area and becoming part of the community," Vongerichten said. Related executive vice president Andrew Cantor said the developer has been deliberate about every partner it brings to the tower. Oxford global development head Dean Shapiro said welcoming a culinary brand of this caliber is another indication of the destination being created.

Related Companies and development partner Oxford Properties Group chose the chef before the tower's 2028 completion. The building, designed by Gensler and Roger Ferris + Partners, stands 832 feet tall at Hudson Boulevard East at West 35th Street. At least 80% of offices are already committed, and a tenant recently took the top two penthouse floors with 52,000 square feet.

Jean-Georges Management's Restaurant Footprint

Jean-Georges Management operates 41 restaurants globally, including 12 in New York City, according to akta.pro company records. Howard Hughes Corporation invested $55 million for a minority stake in Jean-Georges Restaurants in April 2022 to fund a global, capital-light restaurant management platform. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in New York.
