Inside the Valencia Del Mar and Harbor Plans
GL Homes is a Florida homebuilder and land developer founded 50 years ago by Itzhak Ezratti, with communities from Miami-Dade County and Port St. Lucie on the east coast to Naples, Fort Myers and Tampa on the west. The company opened its first Valencia community in Palm Beach County about 30 years ago, and the Valencia brand is now its signature line of 55+ communities in Florida, found along both coasts.
At Valencia Del Mar, residents already gather in the Social Hub and Fitness Studio within the on-site Community Center. Construction continues on a 43,000-square-foot clubhouse planned to include a full-service restaurant, a grand social hall and a sports lounge with a multi-sport simulator. More than 100 clubs and activities are planned, from fitness classes and hobby groups to live entertainment.
Valencia Harbor is preparing to open its Al Fresco Sports & Racquet Club in November, with 12 pickleball courts, four tennis courts, four bocce courts, an event lawn and a food truck plaza, alongside a new resort-style pool area. "Each community is designed to feel like a luxury resort from the very first visit," Ezratti said in the announcement. Full-time lifestyle directors fill the calendar with activities and events, according to the company.
GL Homes' Scale in Florida
According to akta.pro company records, GL Homes was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Sunrise, with a headcount range of 501 to 1,000 and a revenue estimate of $1 billion-$5 billion. The same records describe it as one of Florida's largest privately owned homebuilders, with more than 100,000 people living in a GL home throughout Florida. The company's affiliated mortgage lender, GLFinancial Services, offers closing cost incentives up to $25,000, and Nova Title Company provides title insurance and settlement services for GL Homes purchases.
Earlier Valencia Openings This Fall
In September 2026, GL Homes unveiled the Aruba floorplan at Valencia Harbor, with homes priced from the mid-$300,000s to $600,000s, according to Prweb. The same month, the builder offered 15 Early Move-In homes with private pools at Valencia Del Mar, ranging from 2,309 to 3,200 square feet, with select residences available now and more through March 2027, Prweb reported. In October 2026, GL Homes said it was advancing construction on a 35,000-square-foot clubhouse at Valencia Sky in Naples, following the August opening of the Sports & Racquet Club there, according to Prweb.
What Opens Next at Valencia Harbor
The Al Fresco Sports & Racquet Club at Valencia Harbor is set to open in November, the company said. GL Homes said it plans to keep building on the resort-style living and social connection that define its Valencia communities.
