  • CardSight AI added identification, catalog and market data for Disney and Marvel trading cards, including Topps Chrome Disney, Topps Disney Neon and Topps Chrome Marvel.
  • The platform now identifies more than 11,000 trading card sets and links each card to a catalog of more than 16 million trading cards.

CardSight AI now identifies, catalogs and supplies market data for Disney and Marvel trading cards, including Topps Chrome Disney, Topps Disney Neon and Topps Chrome Marvel, the company said in an announcement published by EIN Presswire. The CardSight AI platform covers more than 11,000 trading card sets, and the new categories run on the same API as its existing sports and trading card game support.

What the Disney and Marvel Support Covers

Coverage spans current releases and decades of vintage cards, including Marvel trading cards built around comic book art and Marvel Studios films. CardSight identifies any number of cards in a single photo and matches each to its catalog record, which the company says lets collection apps track which cards from a release a collector owns and which are still missing.

Each Disney and Marvel record connects to market data that traces back to a specific sale or listing. Completed sales show what cards have sold for, while active listings show what sellers are asking, a view the company ties to insurance replacement values and to collectors pricing out the rest of a set. Graded Disney and Marvel cards return with the certificate number and full label text, the same as graded sports and Pokémon cards.

Eric Nusbaum, co-founder and CEO of CardSight AI, said: "Most collectors don't stick to one category, so the apps and shops that serve them can't either. Now a single integration can identify, catalog, and price Disney and Marvel trading cards right alongside sports cards and Pokémon cards, at the same industry-leading speed."

CardSight's Catalog and Funding Records

According to akta.pro company records, CardSight AI was founded in 2025 and is based in Biddeford, Maine, with a headcount range of 1-10 and a revenue estimate under $1 million. The same records list two funding rounds, a January 2026 pre-seed of $250,000 and a January 2026 seed of $135,000, for total funding of $400,000. The records also list a native MCP server integration with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, giving conversational access to card identification, pricing, catalog and collection management.

Earlier CardSight AI Releases

CardSight AI launched CardMagic in September 2026, a feature that turns a single phone photo of up to nine raw trading cards into listing-ready images with corner close-ups, EIN Presswire reported. That month the company also announced release-day identification for Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration, which launched September 16, 2026, and added full support for MMA trading cards covering more than 250 releases, bringing the platform to more than 8,250 sets at the time.

Where Developers Start

Disney and Marvel identification, catalog and market data are available now through the CardSight AI API on every plan, including the free tier. Developers can check which Disney and Marvel sets are supported through a free coverage check in the API before writing code, and can start for free at cardsight.ai.
