Triple-Pane Glass and Black Finishes Across 400 Series
Andersen Windows & Doors expanded nationwide availability of triple-pane glass on select 400 Series products and added triple-pane options for double-hung, picture and transom windows. The 400 Series patio doors now come with black interior and exterior color options, and double-hung and picture windows offer factory-applied interior wood trim. Casement and tilt-wash double-hung windows gained contemporary grille profiles, while casement, awning and picture windows received contemporary glazing beads.
The Outswing Folding Door added a contemporary panel design option and concealed shoot bolt hardware across all door panel types. "Additional 400 Series triple-pane glass offerings help builders and homeowners achieve ambitious energy-efficiency goals while making it easier to maintain consistent performance across complete window packages," said Jessica Ehrlichmann, vice president and general manager of windows and doors business units at Andersen.
100 Series Gains Nationwide Double-Hung Availability
The 100 Series double-hung windows are now available nationwide, and the line expanded to include an insert frame. Shapes and geometric windows in the 100 Series gained triple-pane glass, equal-leg arch windows added a custom radius option, and gliding patio doors received a black sill option.
New Taos and Whistler patio door hardware styles come in Matte Bronze, Sand, Graphite Gray and Satin Brass finishes, available exclusively on those styles. "Builders today are navigating increasing demand for personalization, elevated design aesthetics and high-performing products, while also managing jobsite efficiency and installation challenges," Ehrlichmann said. "These product expansions give builders and homeowners more flexibility to achieve architectural visions while maintaining the performance, durability and installation that makes it easy to choose Andersen."
