Mountain Mike's Pizza Opens Second Daly City Restaurant on Mission Street

Mountain Mike's Pizza opened a new restaurant in Daly City, California, its second location in the city, the company said in a Yahoo report. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant at 5999 Mission St. is owned and operated by franchisees Jagjit Sethi, Charanpreet Singh and Gurpreet Sandhu, who also run two existing Mountain Mike's locations in the region.

Inside the Daly City Mountain Mike's

The Daly City restaurant features five big-screen televisions, a weekday all-you-can-eat pizza and salad lunch buffet, a fresh salad bar, domestic and craft beer on tap, a varied wine selection, kids' arcade games and complimentary Wi-Fi. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

"We are honored to continue Mountain Mike's legacy across the San Francisco Bay Area with our newest location in Daly City just miles away from where 'Pizza the Way it Oughta Be' started," Sethi said. "There's a reason why Mountain Mike's continues to be a staple in the Bay Area: we consistently deliver high-quality pizza and a family friendly environment the community craves and we're excited to broaden that experience for Daly City residents."

Mountain Mike's Pizza is a privately held, franchise-led pizza restaurant chain founded in 1978, according to company records. The chain operates more than 320 locations across 11 or more U.S. states, with dine-in, carryout, delivery, catering and a mobile loyalty program.

Mountain Mike's Pizza Scale and Expansion Plans

Mountain Mike's Pizza announced a plan to open 25 franchised locations in 2026 as part of expansion into nearly 20 U.S. states, according to akta.pro company records. The plan builds on surpassing 300 locations in 2025 and reaching more than 320 units. The company's records list one funding round, an undisclosed $21 million round in March 2022.

Earlier Mountain Mike's Openings and Campaigns

Mountain Mike's Pizza opened a restaurant in Georgetown, Texas, in September 2026, its 17th location in the state, QSR Magazine reported. The 2,400-square-foot venue, owned by Rajeev Dewan, includes a weekday all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and salad bar.

Mountain Mike's Pizza appointed Sheena Dougher as Chief Marketing Officer in September 2026, QSR Magazine reported. Dougher brought more than 15 years of restaurant marketing experience and previously served as VP of Brand Marketing at Jack in the Box.

Mountain Mike's Pizza said in November 2026 that it will donate $1 from every Heart-Shaped Pizza sold in November to Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, QSR Magazine reported. The campaign runs at nearly 350 restaurants and follows a $10,000 donation in 2025.

Mountain Mike's 2026 Opening Target

Mountain Mike's Pizza opened nine new restaurants across six states and entered three new markets during the first half of 2026, QSR Magazine reported. The company expects approximately 20 new locations by year-end.
