ReFuels N.V. opened a public-access Bio-CNG refuelling station near the M4 motorway at Magor, South Wales, with capacity to refuel more than 800 trucks per day, TradingView reported on November 5, 2026. The station is owned and operated by CNG Fuels, in which ReFuels holds a 40% stake.

Magor Station Adds 12-Bay Capacity on the M4

The Magor site can refuel 12 trucks simultaneously at full utilisation, enabling more than 800 trucks to be refuelled per day and the dispensing of more than 30 million kilograms of Bio-CNG annually. It sits on a freight corridor linking London, South Wales and the Midlands, close to the Port of Newport, two international airports and distribution centres operated by logistics users including Tesco and AB InBev.

"The Magor station strengthens CNG Fuels' network along an important UK freight corridor, giving fleet operators greater access to a lower-cost, lower-carbon and regionally produced alternative to imported diesel," said Philip Fjeld, CEO and co-founder of ReFuels. "Fleets will only transition at scale if the infrastructure is there, and our continued network expansion is making that switch increasingly straightforward."

With Magor, CNG Fuels operates 17 public-access Bio-CNG stations across the UK, with capacity to refuel more than 12,000 HGVs per day. The company is continuing a demand-led rollout of high-capacity stations and mobile refuelling solutions, targeting network capacity for more than 20,000 HGVs per day by the end of 2028.

CNG Fuels' Station Count and Earnings Guidance

According to akta.pro company records, CNG Fuels was refuelling 2,250 or more trucks daily across 16 UK stations before the Magor opening. The same records put CNG Fuels' FY2026 EBITDA at GBP 14.2 million, more than double the FY2025 figure, with FY2027 adjusted EBITDA guidance of GBP 16-20 million. ReFuels is a Dutch public company, founded in 2014 and headquartered in Amsterdam, that supplies renewable biomethane and refuelling infrastructure to commercial HGV fleets in the UK through its 40%-owned CNG Fuels subsidiary.

Terpel, Ultra Gas and HRS Expand Refuelling Networks

Terpel and Colgas opened a sixth AutoGLP station in Bogotá on October 28, 2026, bringing their combined network to 26 stations, Larepublica reported. Ultra Gas & Energy plans to add 15 LNG retail stations by the end of its fiscal year, taking its network to 25, The Hindu reported on October 25, 2026. Hydrogen Refueling Solutions reported 31 installed stations with more than 6 tonnes per day of capacity on November 4, 2026, FinancialContent reported.

Swindon Station Due in First Half of 2027

Fjeld said Magor will be complemented by a new station at Swindon in the first half of 2027, enabling transport between London and southern parts of the Midlands and Wales. Company records show ReFuels began construction of the 12-bay Swindon station in June 2026, with capacity for more than 800 trucks per day and expected completion in the first quarter of 2027.
