LexisNexis Risk Solutions has added Know Your Agent intelligence to its digital identity and fraud prevention platform, extending its risk intelligence to AI agents acting for people and businesses. The Tribune reported the launch on November 5, 2026. The company said many customers already use KYA intelligence in their risk decisions.

How Know Your Agent Works

LexisNexis Risk Solutions said KYA adds a layer of agentic insights that helps organizations recognize when AI agents interact with their digital services. The intelligence brings those interactions into established risk assessment and decisioning workflows rather than treating them as a separate risk problem.

The company said most personal agents today do not self-declare as agents, so organizations must first distinguish agentic activity from other digital traffic. Detection alone cannot establish who or what an agent acts for, whether the activity is authorized, or whether its behavior matches that authority, according to the company.

Grayson Clarke, chief commercial officer at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, said: "Agentic transactions globally more than doubled again in the last quarter, driven primarily by personal agents." Clarke said a global financial institution used the company's detection capabilities to identify agentic activity and stop it from executing sensitive transactions.

Mike Woodberry, senior vice president of product and analytics, said: "Managing risk in the agentic economy will require more than agent detection alone." He said the company's vision for KYA is to extend established risk intelligence into the agentic economy so organizations can apply the appropriate response to each interaction.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions' Transaction Scale

According to akta.pro company records, LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a division of RELX and serves seven major industry verticals: corporations, financial services, government, healthcare, insurance, law enforcement and public safety, and collections and recovery. The same records list partnerships with ICIS for commodities and chemicals data, Cirium for aviation data and Brightmine for human resources data and analytics.

The company said it analyzed more than 116 billion digital transactions globally in 2025 through its Digital Identity Network. The network detected 4.9 billion automated bot attacks during the year, a 59% increase year over year.
