AGCO Power will display its CORE75 engine platform in the new Massey Ferguson MF 7S MARK 2 range and Valtra's sixth-generation T Series at EIMA International 2026 in Bologna, Italy, on November 10-14, 2026. Business Wire said a CORE75 engine will also be on display at the Valtra stand.
How CORE75 Fits the Massey Ferguson and Valtra Tractors
The CORE engine family was developed from a clean sheet as a next-generation platform for off-highway applications, according to AGCO Power. The family includes CORE50, CORE75 and CORE80 engines and is developed at AGCO Power's Linnavuori site in Finland, which the company describes as its global center of expertise for engine development and production.
Each tractor application starts from the common platform and is tailored to the machine. Turbocharger specifications, engine control software and calibration are adapted for the required power, load response and operating speed range, and the positioning of service points and engine ancillaries is also tailored. In the new Massey Ferguson MF 7S MARK 2 range, CORE75 is matched to the Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission. In Valtra's sixth-generation T Series, application-specific versions of CORE75 are paired with either the AGCO ML180 continuously variable transmission or a Powershift transmission. Agriland.ie reported that Valtra introduced the sixth-generation T series in the midpower segment with the AGCO Power Core 75 engine and CVT or PowerShift transmissions.
"We do not develop engines as off-the-shelf products. Every CORE application is engineered together with the machine manufacturer to match the specific performance, integration and operating requirements of the machine," said Jarno Ratia, Director of Product Management at AGCO Power. Ratia also said fuel efficiency translates directly into operating costs for customers, while operators need strong torque, fast response and a machine that feels easy to drive.
CORE engines can already run on renewable diesel in the form of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), and the platform provides a foundation for developing solutions for other fuels as technology, fuel availability and customer requirements evolve. The flexibility of CORE75 extends beyond agricultural tractors to off-highway applications including forestry operations.
CORE80 Award and AGCO Power's Engine Work
According to akta.pro company records, the CORE80 engine received the Diesel Engine of the Year 2026 award from Powertrain International, which the records describe as recognizing 20 years of the publication's powertrain innovation awards. The same records list AGCO Power's participation in the Wärtsilä-led EDE3 co-research project with Turku University of Applied Sciences, Nome, Unikie and EDRMedeso to develop real-time detection and prevention of extreme engine events through July 2027. The records also note close cooperation with Fendt on engine development, with the Fendt 800 Vario Gen5 featuring the new 8-liter 252 kW CORE80 diesel engine.
Where to See the CORE75 at EIMA 2026
