Xperi reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $114 million, up from $111.6 million a year earlier, and said MediaMarktSaturn selected TiVo OS as the operating system for its private-label PEAQ TV brand. The company announced the results on November 4, 2026, Business Wire reported. Xperi is a San Jose-based media and entertainment technology company that licenses DTS, HD Radio, IMAX Enhanced and TiVo technologies to device makers, automakers, pay TV operators and media platforms.

MediaMarktSaturn Picks TiVo OS for PEAQ TVs

MediaMarktSaturn, which Xperi describes as Europe's largest consumer electronics retailer with more than 1,000 stores, chose TiVo OS as its smart TV operating system partner, including for its private-label TV brand. Xperi said the selection expands TiVo OS to 11 OEM design partnerships and is expected to create a retail media and commerce opportunity across the TV experience. MediaMarktSaturn has also been widening its retail partnerships elsewhere: FinanzNachrichten.de reported that FIT GROUP AG planned to expand TUNNELBLICK coffee pouch sales to additional MediaMarkt stores and XPERION gaming locations after a successful pilot.

Chief executive Jon Kirchner tied the win to the company's advertising push. "The selection of TiVo's Operating System by MediaMarktSaturn, the largest electronics retailer across Europe with more than 1,000 stores, demonstrates the benefit of our independent media platform solution, the strength of our retail media product offerings, and our unique competitive position in the market," he said. Advertising and related revenue grew approximately 280% in the quarter and drove media platform revenue to double year over year, the company said. TiVo One monthly active users reached 6.8 million, a 40% year-over-year increase, and TiVo One ARPU rose 14% sequentially to $7.65.

Xperi's Advertising and Platform Figures

According to akta.pro company records, Xperi formed a strategic connected TV advertising partnership with Samba TV effective April 1, 2026, making TiVo Samba TV's preferred managed service advertising partner in the UK and Samba TV the preferred analytics partner to Xperi. The same records list more than 1 billion devices powered by Xperi technologies worldwide and more than 150 million cars carrying its connected car technologies. Xperi reported GAAP operating income of $1.8 million for the quarter, compared with a loss of $1.4 million a year earlier, and a GAAP net loss of $5.2 million, or $0.11 per diluted share.

Xperi's Path to the MediaMarktSaturn Deal

Xperi said on October 14, 2026 that it would report third-quarter results on November 4 after market close, Stock Titan reported. In January 2026, Xperi achieved Freely certification for TiVo OS on external streaming devices in the UK, according to akta.pro company records, opening a geographic channel for the operating system beyond its existing Vestel-led consumer electronics OEM footprint. In April 2026, the company launched the DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal Premium tier, a paid analytics layer ranking radio stations by daypart across more than 16 million vehicles.

Xperi's Narrowed 2026 Outlook

Xperi narrowed its 2026 revenue outlook to $450 million to $462 million from $440 million to $470 million and raised its adjusted EBITDA margin outlook to 19% to 21% from 17% to 19%. It lifted its operating cash flow outlook to $20 million to $30 million from $15 million to $25 million. Robert Andersen, the chief financial officer, will retire in 2027 as part of a planned transition and will continue in his current role until his successor is on board, the company said.
