Stella McCartney and Yoshitomo Nara have launched their third capsule collection, made from 100 percent responsible materials, with a global launch on November 11. Yahoo reported the collection includes ready-to-wear, knits, shoes and accessories.

Inside the Rock 'n' Roll Forest Collection

The collection is inspired by a "rock 'n' roll forest" and brings together nature, music and Nara's childlike and animal motifs. It includes four exclusive styles in "extremely limited" quantities: vegan handbags, framed crocheted faces, and hand-knitted scarves and sweaters available on a made-to-order basis and crafted at McCartney's atelier.

An Adidas by Stella McCartney x Yoshitomo Nara SPW64 reimagines the Tokyo 64 track shoe. It is made from lightweight, recycled materials printed with Nara's artwork, and its slender silhouette has a tongue inspired by the 1956 Melbourne Olympics shoe.

"I've always been such a huge fan of Nara, so to have formed a true friendship with him has been a real honor. He's such an individual artist, quite elusive, and I love that sense of silence, peace and calm you feel when you're around him. We're friends first and foremost, and that makes this third collaboration incredibly special," said McCartney.

McCartney said the collection is made from deadstock yarns and materials "because I'm obsessed with addressing waste in fashion, and using what already exists. But it's also about making something that has a life beyond a season. These limited pieces are almost collectibles, created with an incredible artist. They're things you want to keep and treasure."

The campaign stars the Japanese actor Ryo Ryusei and model Mika Schnider with playlists curated by McCartney and Nara. In Japan, a dedicated, four-week Stella McCartney x Yoshitomo Nara pop-up will open at Isetan the Space on the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku, with repurposed fixtures, materials and 3D artworks made using recyclable paper and cardboard cutouts. McCartney will be in Japan with Nara from November 9-11 to celebrate the launch with experiences at the brand's Aoyama and Hankyu Umeda stores.

Stella McCartney's Earlier Partnerships

According to akta.pro company records, Stella McCartney's second major collaboration with H&M launched on May 7, 2026, marking 20 years since the original partnership. WELEDA partnered with Stella McCartney at Paris Fashion Week on March 4, 2026, using its Skin Food range backstage to prepare runway models. In December 2025, Stella McCartney partnered with equestrian brand LeMieux to launch a vegan and sustainable equestrian collection for both humans and horses, featuring sustainable materials like recycled nylon and organic cotton.

Stella McCartney's Recent Runway and Retail Moves

Stella McCartney presented a zero-wool Paris show with a sea-life theme on September 30, 2026, stating no wool was on the runway, The Guardian reported. The show cited cruelty in wool production and promoted alternatives like Brewed Protein, and featured ocean-inspired designs and a video message from Sylvia Earle. On September 8, 2026, Stella McCartney selected Proximity to support its clienteling strategy, with the Proximity app live across 14 stores in the UK, Italy, France, Spain and the US, Advfn reported.
