Grow Therapy will add 123 full-time jobs in New York City and invest $9.9 million in research and development, Governor Kathy Hochul announced on November 4, 2026. The mental health platform is also putting $15 million into fitting out a new office of more than 78,000 square feet at 145 Delancey Street in the Lower East Side, according to EIN Presswire.
Grow Therapy's Delancey Street Lease and State Support
Grow Therapy is a US mental health platform that connects clients with licensed therapists and psychiatrists in all 50 states, according to akta.pro company records. Empire State Development is supporting the project with up to $1.4 million in tax credits through the Excelsior Jobs Program, subject to meeting specific targets.
Commercial Observer reported that the 78,000-square-foot lease is at Essex Crossing in Manhattan and is the company's second New York City lease in a year. The new roles will cover areas including technology, marketing and operations.
Hochul said the company's decision to strengthen its presence in the city reflects the strength of its talent and its innovation-based economy. "We are proud to support a company that uses technology to expand access to mental health care while creating new opportunities for New Yorkers," she said.
Seth Bressack, Grow Therapy's chief financial officer, said New York is the company's central hub. "What we develop in this city reaches everyone we serve across the 50 states," he said. "We find talent here, our clients are here, and now more jobs will be concentrated here as well."
Grow Therapy's Earlier New York Commitments
The new phase follows Grow Therapy's earlier expansion announcement in November 2025, when the company committed to moving its headquarters from SoHo to 100 Broadway, creating at least 186 jobs within five years and investing $16 million in research and development. Combined with that project, Grow Therapy has committed to creating 309 new jobs, retaining 94 existing positions and investing a total of $40.9 million in its New York operations.
The additional $9.9 million in research and development will go toward building technologies and artificial intelligence tools designed to assist health care professionals and improve care delivery.
Grow Therapy's Campaign and Research Partnerships
In August 2026, Grow Therapy launched its first national brand campaign, "Key Change," which reframes mental health care as a tool for ongoing personal progress rather than only crisis intervention, PR Newswire reported. That same month, the company introduced its "Compass Parenting" framework for youth mental health, shifting the focus from parental gatekeeping to guiding young people through digital experiences.
In June 2026, Grow Therapy announced a research partnership with Stanford University to establish clinical safety standards for AI use in mental health care, according to PR Newswire.
