Honda Motor has revealed its 2027 Africa Twin range ahead of EICMA 2026 in Milan, adding an Enduro Sports off-road variant to a lineup that now uses a 1,131cc engine producing 117hp. TimesNow reported the reveal on November 3, 2026.
Inside the 2027 Africa Twin Lineup
The range comprises three models: the standard Africa Twin, the Africa Twin Adventure Sports, and the all-new Africa Twin Enduro Sports. The 1,131cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin replaces the previous 1,084cc unit and produces 117hp at 7,500rpm and 119Nm at 5,700rpm. Honda changed the bore, compression ratio, intake, exhaust and gearing for stronger acceleration and a more comfortable motorway ride.
The Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports get an all-new frame and swingarm weighing about 1.4kg less than the units they replace. The fuel sub-tank moves under the seat, which Honda says should lower the centre of gravity and sharpen low-speed handling. Both models carry Showa EERA suspension with Skyhook control technology and six riding modes that adjust engine performance, ABS, traction control, transmission and suspension settings to different terrains.
The Adventure Sports DCT offers Honda SENSING RIDE, which uses front and rear millimetre-wave radars to monitor surrounding traffic. It provides emergency brake assistance, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warnings, and alerts for vehicles entering blind spots. The range builds on the previous-generation CRF1100L series.
