VRX Racing exhibited its 2026 RTR lineup at the NRHSA Table-Top Expo at Booth 313, headlined by the Octane EVO desert truck, the Cobra truggy and the VRX-CB8E competition buggy. The Shenzhen-based maker of ready-to-run radio-controlled models announced the showing in a release carried by PRLog.

Inside VRX Racing's Booth 313 Display

The Octane EVO is a new 1/10-scale 4WD electric desert truck built on a revised RH1043 chassis. It pairs a clipless quick-release body shell with a one-piece die-cast aluminum chassis and a fully enclosed gearbox that keeps out sand and mud, while a splash-proof 40A ESC and a 550-size 21T high-torque motor deliver all-terrain power. The model launches in two colorways, the purple-blue "Stellar Fall" and the red-yellow "Blaze Pioneer."

Also on display was the Cobra, a 1/8-scale electric truggy wearing a new shell over a brushless system built around a 60A Hobbywing ESC and a 3660 2000KV motor. The VRX-CB8E (RH826) competition buggy rounded out the larger-scale models at the booth.

The 1/24-scale MACE monster truck, a 4WD RTR with full metal gears and a 28,000 RPM 180-size motor, was shown beside its new aluminum option parts: suspension arms, steering knuckles and oil-filled shocks. VRX Racing was established in 2008 and is based in Longgang District, Shenzhen, China, serving hobby retailers in 56 countries across off-road trucks, buggies and desert racing platforms.

Robert, Product Operations at VRX Racing, described the show as a way to gather dealer input. "We bring our newest models to NRHSA to put them in dealers' hands and hear directly what U.S. Hobby shops need for next season," he said. "The response to the Octane EVO and the CB8E was extremely encouraging, and we are already following up on dealer inquiries from the show floor."

Hobby shops interested in the 2026 lineup can visit the VRX Racing website or email [email protected].
