Medmix has produced 10 million parts using Shadow Printing, a decoration technology now in production at all three of its Beauty sites in Germany, the USA and Brazil. Stock Titan reported the milestone on October 28, 2026, and said orders for a further 2 million parts have already been placed.
How Shadow Printing Works at Medmix
Medmix is a Swiss-listed precision manufacturer of high-precision delivery devices for dental, drug delivery, surgical, industrial adhesives and beauty applicators, with 14 production sites worldwide. Shadow Printing works without additional foil or ink, enabling a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 26% compared to conventional matte lacquering. It redefines only the surface of the polymer component, so packaging made from PPWR-compliant material remains compliant and recyclable after decoration.
The technology's 360° application allows complex customized elements and patterns to be applied to bottles and caps, combining matte and shiny surfaces within the same design. Brands can also pair it with hot foil stamping or silk screen printing for more design possibilities. Medmix first introduced Shadow Printing in Germany in October 2021, expanded production to the USA in August 2025 and to Brazil in January 2026, with 43 different bottles and caps currently in production worldwide.
"Reaching 10 million parts shows that brands no longer want to choose between sustainability and design. For our customers, Shadow Printing is a practical way to prepare for stricter regulations without compromising on visual appeal," said Jennifer Dean, Head of medmix' Beauty Business Unit.
Jennifer Dean's Move to the Beauty Unit
According to akta.pro company records, Jennifer Dean, CFO since the company's IPO, was appointed Global Head of the Beauty Business Unit (GEKA and QIAOYI) in March 2026, elevating a high-growth consumer segment to executive-level focus. The same records list more than 900 active patents across the company and about 2,700 employees globally.
Earlier Medmix Product and Rating News
On October 15, 2026, medmix launched the PiccoMix mixing tip for dental cementation, designed to improve efficiency and reduce waste, Aktien reported. The tip delivers up to 60% more applications per product, cuts material waste by 52% and plastic waste by 33%, with 12 mixing elements versus 8 in previous models.
Stock Titan reported on September 15, 2026, that medmix received an 'A' rating in CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment for the second consecutive year. On September 10, 2026, Stock Titan reported that medmix's D-Flex pen injector will support Xeris Pharmaceuticals' XP-8121, an investigational once-weekly levothyroxine for hypothyroidism.
Medmix's Next Production Steps
Medmix said orders for a further 2 million parts have already been placed. The company's own announcement describes Shadow Printing as established at all three Beauty production sites.
