Silberman's Marketing and Communications Mandate at Sol
At Sol, Silberman will handle brand, marketing and communications strategy, including positioning and narrative, earned media, content and thought leadership, digital presence, internal communications and reputation management. Sol works with businesses on implementing AI workflow, and its agentic AI systems, workflow modernization and workforce transformation focus on fields including media, entertainment and adtech, as well as state and local government and education.
"We've built Sol on the strength of our delivery. Now we're investing in making sure the market knows it," Aslansan said in a statement. "Dan has built and defended brands under genuine public scrutiny, at a scale most firms never touch. He's exactly what this next phase of growth needs, and he'll make sure the market sees what our clients already do."
At A+E Global Media, Silberman oversaw media relations, corporate and internal communications, crisis management, social strategy and talent relations for A&E Network, History Channel, A+E Factual Studios, A&E Indie Films and more. He began his career at New York's Rubenstein Communications, then later joined Bravo Media, where he helped its transformation into a pop culture destination with early hits like "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and "Project Runway."
"Twenty-five years in television taught me that attention follows the story you tell about your work, not just the work itself," Silberman said. "Sol is competing with firms several times its size and winning, which is the rare case where the story is sitting right there waiting to be told. I'm joining a team of doers that is reshaping how their clients operate, and I'm here to make sure it sounds like it. I've made a career of learning a new business from the best people in it. I want Sol to be the name people already know when we walk in the room."
