Jatheon introduced Content Policy in Jatheon Cloud on October 28, 2026, a feature that automatically detects and removes WhatsApp messages violating an organization's communication rules. PR.com said the capability is aimed at compliance, legal, IT, and records and information governance teams in regulated organizations.
How Jatheon Cloud Content Policy Works
When a WhatsApp message matches criteria an organization defines, Jatheon Technologies' Jatheon Cloud removes it directly on WhatsApp for everyone in the conversation and keeps a record that the action took place. Teams can write rules covering prohibited language, confidential keywords, or specific phone or account numbers that should not appear in WhatsApp chats.
Removed messages are marked with a distinct status, which sets them apart from messages users delete or edit themselves, so they remain easy to find through search. An audit log records each deletion event, and organizations can choose to send an email notification to the message sender when a policy removes their message.
Marko Dinic, Jatheon CEO, said: "Compliance teams need to act on communication risks as they happen, not weeks later during a review." He added: "Content Policy lets organizations enforce their own rules on WhatsApp automatically, while keeping the clear, searchable record that regulated environments depend on."
Content Policy is part of Jatheon Cloud, an AWS-based archiving platform that captures and preserves communications across email, social, website, chat, text, voice, and files for retention, compliance, and ediscovery. The company's website invites organizations to schedule a demo of Content Policy and Jatheon Cloud.
Jatheon's Archive Scale and Cloud Partners
According to akta.pro company records, Jatheon Cloud runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure with data storage in AWS data centers, providing multi-zone redundancy, geofencing, and AWS-guaranteed 99.999999999% durability. The same records list Google Workspace as a sub-processor for email, document storage, collaboration and productivity tools, with integrations for Gmail, Google Drive and YouTube archiving. Jatheon operates a Managed Service Provider partner program through which MSPs serving government, financial services, healthcare and education can resell its archiving solutions. The records put the platform at 11B+ archived messages and 500+ global customers.
Earlier Jatheon Cloud Connector Launches
Jatheon announced Slack archiving on its cloud platform in September 2026, capturing and preserving Slack conversations for compliance and legal teams, with historical data import, unified search, AI sentiment analysis and retention policies, PRLog reported. In July 2026, PRLog reported that Jatheon Cloud's Unified Search feature helps regulated financial firms respond to SEC and FINRA examinations faster by consolidating email, chat, social media, website and file records into a single searchable interface. Jatheon added website archiving to Jatheon Cloud in June 2026, enabling automatic capture, retention and search of website content, with each crawl preserved as a separate version, EIN Presswire reported.
Gartner's Governance Forecast
Jatheon cited Gartner's projection that "By 2029, 30% of enterprises will shift to a proactive employee digital communications governance approach to improve corporate policy outcomes and advance business insights, up from less than 10% in 2025."
