Syfe launched Yield+ in Hong Kong on 26 October 2026, an HKD portfolio with a projected net yield of 4.71% per annum, no lock-in and no minimum investment. The Singapore-headquartered digital wealth platform announced the launch in a press release PR Newswire APAC.

Yield+ targets money set aside for 12 months or more

Yield+ is designed for money investors won't need for a year or more, targeting a projected net yield above Hong Kong's headline inflation rate of 1.7% year on year. It sits alongside two existing products in Syfe's Cash & Yield Management suite in Hong Kong: Cash+ Flexi, for money that may be needed at any time, and Cash+ Fixed, for money not needed until a set date.

Yield+ invests in three actively managed short-duration bond funds, each in an HKD share class: Taikang Kaitai Overseas Short Tenor Bond Fund at 40%, Amundi Funds - US Short Term Bond at 30% and Aberdeen SICAV I - Short Dated Enhanced Income Fund at 30%. The portfolio has an average duration of about one year. Spreading the allocation across three managers reduces reliance on any single manager's credit selection.

Returns come from two sources: the interest the bonds pay, which builds up daily whether prices rise or fall, and changes in bond prices, which move in the opposite direction to interest rates. Yield+ targets a higher yield than Cash+ Flexi, but its value moves with interest rates and credit spreads and can fall.

Ritesh Ganeriwal, MD and Group Head of Investment & Advisory at Syfe, said: "Every dollar in a portfolio has a job. 'Now' money covers day-to-day needs. 'Later' money funds retirement and other long-term goals. In between sits 'soon' money: a renovation, a wedding or a down payment a year or two away. Left idle, that money quietly shrinks due to inflation. Reaching for longer-dated bonds can earn more, but brings price swings that short-term investors may not be ready for. Yield+ bridges that gap by keeping duration to about one year, for money that can be left invested for 12 months or more."

Yield+ is available to Syfe clients in Hong Kong through the company's cash management page.

Syfe's funding and acquisition record

Syfe closed an US$80 million Series C funding round in June 2025 led by UK family offices with participation from existing investors Unbound and Valar Ventures, explicitly to fund regional expansion and the Selfwealth acquisition, according to akta.pro company records. Syfe acquired Australian online investing platform Selfwealth for A$65 million, approximately US$42 million, in an all-cash deal that closed in May 2025, providing immediate Australia market entry and an established CHESS-registered brokerage customer base.

Earlier Syfe product launches

Syfe launched Cash+ Enhanced in August 2026, a cash management product with a projected net yield of up to 3.0% per annum, targeting users who plan to hold funds for one to two years, Fintech Singapore reported. In September 2026, Syfe crossed S$20 billion in assets under management, driven by growth from its investment and trading segments, The Business Times reported. Syfe CEO Dhruv Arora said in August 2026 that staying out of the market leads to inflation losses, noting $100 today would be worth only $45-$50 in 20 years if idle, The Straits Times reported.
