Resolution Minerals Confirms 324m Gold Intercept at Golden Gate North in Idaho

By ·

Key takeaways

  • Resolution Minerals reported 324m at 0.49 grams per tonne gold from surface at Golden Gate North, with intervals up to 1.15g/t.
  • The 2026 campaign comprised 42 diamond core holes for 12,236m at an average hole depth of about 290m.
  • A 2027 exploration program being permitted will test a 2,000m corridor connecting Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South.

Resolution Minerals has confirmed a significant gold mineralised zone in the northern section of the Golden Gate prospect at its wholly owned Horse Heaven antimony-tungsten-gold-silver project in the US, with assays from the first three holes returning intercepts over at least 200 metres width and a true depth of at least 300 metres. TradingView reported the results on October 25, 2026.

Resolution Minerals' Golden Gate North Assays

The best results were 324m at 0.49 grams per tonne gold from surface, with intervals of 92.4m at 0.54g/t from 215.7m, 25.5m at 0.82g/t from 190.2m and 8.7m at 1.05g/t from 62.5m. A second hole returned 322m at 0.37g/t gold from surface, including 30.8m at 0.88g/t from 76.2m and 5.7m at 1.15g/t from 140.1m.

The intercepts extend the mineralisation down dip and support prior reported intercepts in a 2025 drill hole at the same site, including 15.6m at 1.10g/t gold from 166.7m and 133.7m at 0.55g/t from 376.5m. Previous gold in soil sample results could potentially extend the mineralisation a further 500m northwards and a similar distance to the south.

Resolution's large drilling campaign at Golden Gate comprised 42 diamond core holes for a total 12,236m at an average hole depth of about 290m, targeting the scale and extent of the prospect's tungsten and gold mineralisation. The campaign followed earlier results that extended the gold mineralisation at least 2,000m south of Golden Gate North, supporting the company's interpretation of a broader mineralised system at Golden Gate South.

Craig Lindsay, Resolution's chief executive officer of US operations, said the new results indicated a potential extension of the gold mineralised zone at Golden Gate North towards a new discovery two kilometres away at Golden Gate South. "The assay results continue to strengthen a major zone of mineralisation at Golden Gate North," he said. "Additional results are pending from Golden Gate South that may better define the dimensions of the mineralised zones and increase our confidence in last year's gold discovery."

Horse Heaven Project Scale and Funding

Resolution Minerals is a pre-revenue Australian mineral exploration company developing the Horse Heaven project in Idaho, according to akta.pro company records. The Horse Heaven project covers 14,580 acres, or about 59 square kilometres, and was expanded by 600 acres through the filing of 30 additional federal lode mining claims.

The company raised A$20 million in an institutionally-led placement in April 2026 at a 6.3% premium to 20-day VWAP, cornerstoned by Tribeca Investment Partners and L1 Capital Global Opportunities Master Fund, to accelerate exploration drilling, metallurgical test work and permitting. The same records show a Phase 2 fully-permitted drilling program of 45 holes and 13,700 metres at the Golden Gate deposit, with about 60% allocated to Golden Gate South and 40% to Golden Gate North.

Earlier Horse Heaven Drilling Results

Resolution Minerals completed its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Horse Heaven project in Idaho, drilling 42 holes for 12,236 metres across the Golden Gate North and South prospects, Proactiveinvestors reported in September 2026. The company reported its highest gold grade yet from the project, including 1 metre at 14.8 g/t gold from hole HH-GG26-004C, and extended the Golden Gate South mineralised zone to about 600 metres, with 36 holes still awaiting assays.

In August 2026, Resolution Minerals confirmed near-surface gold mineralisation at Golden Gate South in its 2026 drill program, extending gold mineralisation at least 2,000 metres south of Golden Gate North, ABN Newswire reported.

Golden Gate's 2027 Exploration Program

A 2027 exploration program currently being permitted will focus on a 2,000m corridor connecting both prospects, testing open-ended mineralisation to the north of Golden Gate North and including additional infill drilling. Resolution said it expects to release tungsten assays shortly.
