Tony Baron purchased the Southwest Ohio franchise of Pet Butler from Todd Figgins and RJ McKay, the company said on October 26, 2026. The territory serves customers throughout the Dayton and Cincinnati region with pet waste removal and pet care services. The price was not disclosed.

Pet Butler is a mobile pet services franchise operating more than 100 territories across 28 U.S. states, providing subscription-based pet waste removal, commercial waste management, pet sitting, dog walking and pet shuttle services. The Southwest Ohio territory covers Dayton and Cincinnati.

Baron's Purchase of the Southwest Ohio Territory

Baron moves into business ownership after a corporate career of more than 20 years, according to GlobeNewswire. He had been a Pet Butler customer for nearly a decade while exploring the possibility of becoming an entrepreneur.

"As I explored different opportunities, I kept coming back to this one," Baron said. "I already knew the brand as a customer, but what really stood out was the strength of the business itself. Todd and RJ built a great reputation, strong customer relationships and a foundation that made this an easy decision."

Baron plans to continue serving customers throughout the territory while building on the relationships, reputation and community presence established over the years. Mark Potocki, Vice President of Business Development for Pet Butler, said the best franchise resales are about continuing a legacy rather than replacing an owner.

"The seller is able to move on to their next chapter, the buyer steps into an established business, and customers continue receiving the service they've come to expect," Potocki said. "That's exactly what happened here."
