Trailbreaker Resources Completes Seven-Hole Coho Drill Program, Awaits Assays
By News Desk ·
Key takeaways
- Trailbreaker Resources completed seven diamond drill holes totalling 2,667 metres at the Coho Property in central British Columbia.
- The program tested a 1,000 x 800-metre area to a vertical extent of 474 metres, and an IP survey targeted a chargeability anomaly.
- Assay results from 1,415 drill core samples submitted to Bureau Veritas' Vancouver lab are expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
Trailbreaker Resources has completed its Phase One diamond drill program at the Coho Property in central British Columbia, drilling seven holes totalling 2,667 metres. The company said the program tested a 1,000 x 800-metre area and a vertical extent of 474 metres. TradingView carried the announcement on October 26, 2026.
Trailbreaker's Seven Holes at the Coho Property
The 8,000-hectare Coho Property is a copper-gold porphyry target located 90 km north of Fort St. James, BC, and 30 km west of the Mt. Milligan Cu-Au porphyry deposit. The property is road accessible, with a network of Forest Service Roads and logging roads within the claims.
Trailbreaker also completed an induced polarization survey at the Coho Zone alongside the drill program. The survey consisted of four east-west lines totalling fourteen line-kilometres, with three lines spaced 200 metres apart completed 200 metres north of the historic 2023 IP survey. Preliminary results were used to target a chargeability anomaly and interpreted structure with hole CH-26-07.
Holes CH-26-01 and CH-26-02 targeted a 400m x 800m IP coincident chargeability and resistivity high feature. Hole CH-26-03 targeted a shallow IP chargeability high and the Chinook showing, which includes historic channel samples grading 0.08 g/t Au and 0.29% Cu over 11.4 m. Hole CH-26-05 was drilled in the King showing area, targeting a shallow chargeability high and a historic channel sample of 0.68 g/t Au and 2.83% Cu over 1.0 m.
"We are very pleased to have completed the Phase One drill program at Coho and look forward to receiving the assay results," said Daithi Mac Gearailt, President and Chief Executive Officer.
A total of 1,415 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blank samples placed at regular intervals, were submitted to Bureau Veritas' lab in Vancouver, BC. Assay results are expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
Trailbreaker's Funding and Advisor Records
Trailbreaker Resources is a publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration company operating a project generator model focused on gold and copper-gold properties in British Columbia and Yukon Territory, according to akta.pro company records. The company closed a $3.5 million non-brokered charity flow-through private placement in March 2026, upsized from an initial $3 million target, to advance 2026 drill programs across the Atsutla and Coho projects. Trailbreaker appointed Charlie Greig, former VP Exploration at GT Gold and discoverer of the Saddle North Cu-Au porphyry, as Technical Advisor in April 2026.
Coho and Atsutla Work Before the Assays
Trailbreaker Resources began its first diamond drill program at the 8,000-hectare Coho Property in British Columbia in August 2026, targeting a Cu-Au porphyry zone with recent geochemical and geophysical anomalies, Yahoo reported. In July 2026, the company completed its maiden diamond drill program at the Highlands Zone and mobilized drilling to the Swan Zone at its 100%-owned Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia, Yahoo reported.
Atsutla Assays and Technical Report Pending
In early August 2026, Trailbreaker completed a six hole, 1,684-metre drill program at its Atsutla Gold Project, targeting the Highlands and Swan zones spaced 26 km apart. Assays from that program remain pending. The company contracted Eagle Mapping for an airborne property-wide LiDAR survey and Aurora Geosciences Ltd. to complete an independent technical report under NI 43-101.
