TGC Worldwide appointed Jeanie Bailey as Advisory Board Member and Director of Retail and Publishing Partnerships, Lara Butler-Montague as Director of Client Services and Meredith Johnson as Account Manager, the firm announced on November 7, 2026. PR.com published the announcement. Bailey brings more than 40 years of leadership across retail, wholesale, publishing and e-commerce.
Bailey's Retail and Publishing Partnerships Role
Bailey's career includes three tenures at Books-A-Million spanning retail operations, book purchasing and wholesale. Before retiring, she served as Senior Director of E-Commerce Sales and Operations, leading bestseller campaigns with authors and publishers. She also held Director of Mass Market Sales roles at DK Publishing, Thomas Nelson and Parragon, and served as Vice President of U.S. Operations for Make Believe Ideas. At TGC Worldwide, Bailey will architect exclusive retail and media partnership packages across national, wholesale, independent and e-commerce accounts.
Butler-Montague rejoins TGC as Director of Client Services, expanding its script-to-screen activations. As Creative Director at Redirect Marketing Group, she ran bilingual TV, radio and digital campaigns end to end, from scripting and production to paid media and sales reporting. Earlier at TGC, she managed author and executive accounts and secured broadcast and podcast placements. She holds marketing and photography degrees from Drexel University.
Johnson joins as Account Manager with editorial and acquisitions experience from Springer Nature, Rizzoli International Publications and Wiley. As a Commissioning Editor at Springer Nature, she hit her 2025 acquisition targets a quarter early and ran data-driven competitive analysis. Her earlier work spans contract negotiation, international rights acquisition and production across nineteen books. She is a Columbia Publishing Course graduate. Johnson will manage client campaigns, applying editorial and rights fluency to positioning and publisher negotiations.
"Most authors fight battles they can't see: winning over a publisher, a retailer, and the media," said Charlie Fusco, Founder and CEO of TGC Worldwide. "Our team has now sat on every side of that table."
TGC Worldwide's Revenue and Client Base
TGC Worldwide was founded in 2018 by Charlie Fusco, according to akta.pro company records. The same records list annual revenue of $10 million-$15 million and more than 200 clients over 20 years. Fusco has consulted for more than 200 personal, professional and institutional brands over two decades, and clients have appeared on New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller lists. The records also note that multiple clients have secured movie deals.
Bailey and Johnson on the Launch Plan
"I spent four decades watching strong books fail because nobody built the retail plan," said Bailey. "TGC treats a launch as an operating system, not a publicity moment." Johnson said: "Publishers decide in weeks what an author has worked on for years. Knowing how that decision actually gets made changes how you build the book and the pitch."
