Bentley has unveiled the Olympia Collection, a limited edition of 12 bespoke Continental GT models built by its Mulliner division to mark the centenary of the original 6½ Litre's debut at the 1926 Olympia Motor Show. NewsBytes reported the unveiling on November 6, 2026.
Inside the Olympia Collection's Paint and Cabin
Each of the 12 cars carries an Ombre by Mulliner paint finish that fades from Verdant to Midnight Emerald, applied over a 56-hour painting process. Bentley describes the finish as a modern take on the British Racing Green hues it used in the 1920s. Champagne Gold accents appear on the badges, body pinstripe and black 22-inch Mulliner wheels, while Blackline detailing covers the darkened matrix grille, air intakes and rear diffuser.
The cabin pairs Coach Green and Cumbrian Green leather with black-stained, open-pore walnut veneer. Champagne Gold detailing extends to the seat piping, gear lever, steering wheel stitching and controls, and the Bentley Rotating Display gets bespoke clock details inspired by instruments from the 1926 model.
Autoevolution describes the set as 12 individually numbered Continental GT coupes honoring the 1926 Olympia Motor Show, with a Cumbrian Green interior and heritage details. Each example also comes with unique covers, a Brooklands watch and a commemorative book, according to Autoevolution.
NewsBytes reports that every car ships with a matching cover, a commemorative book, a handover box and an individually numbered Brooklands watch whose strap is made from the Coach Green leather used inside the car. The original 6½ Litre was launched alongside the 3 Litre in 1921 to meet demand for a larger chassis and a more powerful engine that could carry heavier coachwork without compromising performance.
Bentley's Crewe Paint Shop and Capgemini Tie-Up
Bentley's bespoke paint work runs through a 12,500 sqm paint shop at Crewe that the company inaugurated in June 2026, according to akta.pro company records; the same records describe it as the first automotive paint shop in the world to use Automated Guided Vehicles. The same records show Bentley entered a strategic partnership with Capgemini in June 2026, with Capgemini serving as digital transformation lead providing AI, systems integration and intelligent-manufacturing capabilities for the Dream Factory under the Beyond100+ strategy.
