T-Mobile launched T-Mix, a wireless plan that lets subscribers change plan elements every 90 days, with a new campaign starring Bryan Cranston. The 60-second ad debuts during Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football," Variety reported. Lucy McLellan, T-Mobile's executive vice president and chief brand and communications officer, said a family of four might save up to $7,000 depending on the options they choose.
Cranston and George Pitch the T-Mix Plan
In the spot, Cranston and a rooster named George act as an alarm clock, rousing people from hotel rooms, airplane seats and bedrooms. "Come on sleepyheads, it's up and at 'em!" Cranston says in the ad. "Because there's been a change in plan!"
T-Mix members can choose benefits including Apple Music, Apple TV, DashPass by DoorDash, Delta miles, ESPN Unlimited, Google Gemini, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, Paramount+, SiriusXM, XBOX Game Pass and YouTube Premium, alongside options such as T-Satellite, Optimized Video Calls and device promotions. McLellan said the campaign aims "to reach new audiences who have tuned out the category completely" and to "appeal to audiences beyond the millennials that T-Mobile has traditionally appeared to."
The work was created with Highdive, which T-Mobile named as its lead creative advertising agency, alongside Anomaly as strategic brand transformation partner, Investing.com reported. Highdive, a Chicago agency, is marking its 10th anniversary, AdAge reported. McLellan said the ad will roll out across national broadcast, streaming, cinema, digital, social media, radio and out-of-home, with bespoke digital creative targeting specific consumer niches.
