DRAFT Media Partners, an independent advertising distribution and technology company based in Greenville, South Carolina, said on November 5, 2026 that it declined an acquisition offer from a large San Francisco-based advertising agency and will remain independent. The company did not name the prospective buyer or the financial terms, citing a non-disclosure agreement, GlobeNewswire reported.

Why DRAFT Media Partners Said No

DRAFT Media Partners positions itself as infrastructure behind advertising rather than a traditional agency, giving brands, agencies and marketing teams access to a network of advertising platforms, publishers, technologies and execution services. The company said the execution business remains central but that its next growth phase will center on self-service advertising tools, campaign planning and forecasting technology, and unified reporting systems.

"We've already proven that we can execute advertising at scale," said Skip Wilson, founder and CEO of DRAFT Media Partners. "We've built the relationships, the infrastructure, and the expertise to make sophisticated advertising accessible to businesses and agencies of all sizes. But what's really exciting is what that infrastructure allows us to build next."

Wilson said the acquisition interest recognized the business DRAFT Media Partners has built, but leadership concluded that staying independent offered the best route to its long-term vision. "An acquisition would have meant losing control of the world we're building," he said. "We've proven we can build the advertising engine. Now we want to put the keys in everyone else's hands."

The company said it will keep expanding its advertising execution partnerships while investing in the self-service and reporting technologies. DRAFT Media Partners describes its goal as bringing planning, distribution, execution and reporting into a more unified advertising experience, which it says would let agencies offer sophisticated capabilities without expanding internal departments or managing dozens of separate vendor relationships.

DRAFT Media Partners' Client Base and Divisions

According to akta.pro company records, DRAFT Media Partners serves 170+ clients across 7 specialized divisions: DRAFT Outdoor, DRAFT Direct, DRAFT Digital, DRAFT Broadcast, DRAFT Creative, DRAFT Promotions and DRAFT Ad Tech. The same records show the company was founded in 2020 as D.R.A.F.T. Advertising Technology with a proprietary forecasting engine, and in 2021 pivoted from pure marketing technology to full-stack advertising execution after partners sought end-to-end fulfillment. In 2024 it publicly repositioned as "the nation's leading advertising distributor" with carbon-neutral credentials, earned-media placements across about 20 outlets and three industry awards in 2023 and 2024.

What DRAFT Media Partners Plans Next

The company said it intends to continue expanding its advertising execution partnerships while investing in the self-service and reporting technologies it expects to define its next stage. DRAFT Media Partners announced the decision in a statement issued from Greenville, South Carolina, on November 5, 2026.
