STI's Enrollment and Campus Spending

STI Education Systems Holdings is a Philippine publicly-listed holding company that runs one of the country's largest private school networks through STI ESG, STI West Negros University, iACADEMY and PSBA, offering tertiary, technical-vocational and basic education.

The Eusebio Tanco-led group recorded 132,941 students across 66 campuses nationwide during the school year. Tertiary programs, particularly from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, made up 78% of the student population, supporting overall results despite declining enrollment in basic education. STI attributed the decline to earlier class openings in public schools, which affected private school intake across the sector.

STI president and CEO Monico V. Jacob said the timing of revenue recognition affected quarterly comparisons, but full-year results met management expectations. "While the timing of revenue recognition affected quarterly comparisons, our full-year results remain stable and aligned with management expectations," Jacob said.

Total assets rose by 10 percent to P18.69 billion as of June 30, 2026, from P17.01 billion a year earlier. Current assets increased by P655.1 million to P4.25 billion. The group attributed overall asset growth mainly to higher cash and cash equivalents, receivables, property and equipment, and investment properties.

STI also upgraded its academic offerings with specialized cybersecurity and computer-aided design platforms for criminology and information and communications technology students, along with Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. At the Philippine School of Business Administration's Manila and Quezon City schools, the group improved facilities, infrastructure, technology and learning resources following a management agreement signed in May 2024. Jacob said these investments aim to prepare students for changing industry requirements and improve graduate employability.

STI's Prior-Year Results and Asset Growth

According to akta.pro company records, STI reported net income of P2.22 billion for the 2024-2025 school year, up 38% from P1.61 billion the previous year, with EBITDA of P3.15 billion at a 57% margin. Revenues for that year were P5.56 billion, up 18% from P4.7 billion in 2024, driven by a 15% enrollment increase. The same records show enrollment of 138,060 students in the 2024-2025 school year, a record high across the network of 66 schools and up 15% from 119,543 the previous year. Total assets grew 9% to P18.53 billion in March 2026, driven by campus expansion and land acquisition in Calamba, Laguna.

STI's Next Steps

The company's three major education subsidiaries are STI Education Services Group, STI West Negros University and iACADEMY. STI's own announcement of the results followed the filing.
