Exiger has been awarded a $12 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Directorate with supply chain illumination and Defense Industrial Base analysis, PR Newswire reported on November 4, 2026. The ICBM enterprise is a cornerstone of U.S. Strategic deterrence and a leg of the nuclear triad.

What the ICBM Contract Covers

Exiger will provide parts-level intelligence, supplier risk monitoring and industrial base analytics for the ICBM enterprise. The company said its platform is built to illuminate risk at the part, supplier, material and sub-tier dependency level, rather than focusing primarily on company-level risk.

The work is intended to help the ICBM Systems Directorate identify obsolescence risk, single-source dependencies, supply chain fragility, vendor viability concerns, counterfeit or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages-affected components, workforce gaps and supplier readiness issues. Exiger said the platform will also provide predictive analytics for part obsolescence forecasting, vendor behavior tracking, forecasted inventory action timelines and risk mitigation planning.

"Ensuring 24/7 readiness in lockstep alongside strategic modernization is one of the most consequential missions in U.S. National security," said Scott LaFoy, Vice President of Nuclear and Technology Security Programs at Exiger. "This requires both the long-term orchestration of multiple strategic, sensitive supplier bases while very actively mapping and mitigating adversarial threats to the supply chain."

Exiger describes itself as a supply chain Super Intelligence company whose 1EXIGER.SI platform serves more than 550 global customers, including 150 Fortune 500 companies and more than 80 government and defense industrial organizations. The company said the award expands its support to U.S. Defense and national security customers.
