Caverion Germany has agreed to acquire WISAG Automatisierungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG from WISAG Group, the company said in a press release. The target has annual turnover of approximately EUR 27 million and around 170 employees across seven locations in Germany. The price was not disclosed.

Caverion is a Munich-headquartered provider of technical building equipment, delivering HVAC, electrical, automation and facility management services across the building lifecycle. WISAG Automatisierungstechnik plans, installs and maintains building automation systems, from building management and energy management to 24/7 on-call services.

Caverion's Largest German Acquisition to Date

Caverion Germany said the acquisition is its largest to date. Building automation is a strategic growth area for Assemblin Caverion as demand rises for energy efficiency, decarbonisation and data-driven building operations, alongside the need to modernise existing building stock.

"Building automation plays a key role in determining how efficiently and sustainably a building operates," said Manfred Simmet, CEO, Germany and Austria, EVP. "With the acquisition of WISAG Automatisierungstechnik, we are gaining an experienced team with in-house product expertise, and many years of experience in the market."

Jörg Friese, Head of WISAG Automatisierungstechnik, said customers and business partners can continue to rely on their usual points of contact. "In Caverion, we have not only found owners with proven technical expertise, but also a company that will focus on building automation as a strategic growth area in the long term," Friese said.
