Tartisan Nickel Proposes Initial 5,000 Metres of Phase 2 Drilling to Expand Kenbridge Resource

By ·

Key takeaways

  • Tartisan Nickel proposed a Phase 2 diamond drilling program of approximately 5,000 metres at its Kenbridge Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Northwestern Ontario.
  • The program initially comprises four holes totaling about 4,850 metres, with holes P1-P3 testing the down-dip continuation and hole P4 testing modelled BHEM plate 209.
  • President and CEO Mark Appleby said BHEM interpretation, site and road work were completed over the summer and drill pads are in place.

Tartisan Nickel Corp. proposed a Phase 2 diamond drilling program of approximately 5,000 metres at its Kenbridge Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project near Sioux Narrows in Northwestern Ontario. The company announced the plan on November 3, 2026, according to TradingView. Tartisan Nickel is a Canadian critical minerals explorer that owns the Kenbridge project and other Ontario properties.

Tartisan Nickel's Four Planned Kenbridge Holes

The proposed Phase 2 program initially comprises four diamond drill holes. Three holes, P1-P3, would test the projected continuation of the mineralized zone at depth, and a fourth hole, P4, would test modelled borehole electromagnetic plate 209. The four holes outlined total approximately an initial 4,850 metres of drilling, and final hole selection, sequencing and orientations may be adjusted as drilling progresses.

Drilling results would provide data to support an updated mineral resource estimate. Any increase in the estimate will depend on the results and subsequent geological modelling and resource estimation. The company said the BHEM response is an exploration target and does not by itself establish mineralization or a mineral resource.

Mark Appleby, President and CEO of Tartisan Nickel, said: "Our 2026 Phase 2 drill program is focused on expanding the Kenbridge mineral resource estimate by testing the deposit at depth and evaluating modelled BHEM plate 209." Appleby said BHEM interpretation, site and road work were completed over the summer and drill pads are in place. Kenbridge lies approximately 70 kilometres southeast of Kenora, and the property is accessible from Highway 71 via about 25 kilometres of all-season road and then about nine kilometres along the property access road. NQ or equivalent core size is contemplated, and mobilization timing and the final program scope remain to be confirmed.

Kenbridge Project Scale and Financing

According to akta.pro company records, the Kenbridge land package covers 47 square kilometres. The same records list multiple flow-through financing rounds closed in 2025 and 2026, including $1.1 million and $1.3 million in December 2025, $1 million in March 2026 and $600,000 in May 2026. The records show five funding rounds on file and total funding of $4.1 million.

Earlier Kenbridge Work Through 2026

In June 2026, Tartisan Nickel retained Tetra Tech Canada Inc. to conduct an independent Pre-Feasibility Study gap analysis for Kenbridge, Stock Titan reported. In July 2026, the company completed airborne MobileMTm and borehole electromagnetic surveys at the project, according to Stock Titan. In August 2026, Tartisan Nickel supported a two-day geological and prospecting training course for First Nations community members at Kenbridge, Stock Titan reported.

What Comes Next at Kenbridge

Mobilization timing and the final scope of the Phase 2 program remain to be confirmed, the company said. Dean MacEachern, P.Geo., an independent consultant to the company, is the Qualified Person for the Kenbridge Project as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
