Speakeasy Dispensary Opens Maysville Location on November 5 With $25 Patient Drives

Speakeasy Dispensary will open a medical cannabis location in Maysville, Kentucky, at 317 W 2nd St on November 5, 2026, with doors opening at 11 AM, PR Newswire reported. The company said the store serves patients in Maysville, Mason County and surrounding communities.

Inside the Maysville Store Opening

Speakeasy Dispensary is a privately held medical cannabis retail chain operated by Gold Leaf Management, serving registered patients in Kentucky and Arkansas. The Maysville store is in historic downtown and is designed as an education-first setting where staff guide patients through their options, according to the company.

Patients will find Kentucky medical cannabis products including flower, vapes, edibles and concentrates, with more categories added as the state's program expands. Regular hours are 11 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday.

Speakeasy is working with local medical providers on patient drives in Maysville. New certifications and renewals cost $25 for an appointment that includes an evaluation by a licensed medical cannabis practitioner, notary services and help with the state application. A separate $25 state application fee is paid directly to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and walk-ins may be accommodated as scheduling allows. Speakeasy's Kentucky Footprint

According to akta.pro company records, Speakeasy scaled its Kentucky footprint to five locations within six months, adding Nortonville, Princeton, Ashland and Bowling Green on a roughly six-week cadence. The same records list more than 19,700 approved medical cannabis cards in Kentucky as of March 2026, and about 500 patients on opening day at the Lexington location, with an average wait under 15 minutes.

Earlier Kentucky Openings

Speakeasy opened a location in Corbin, Kentucky, on July 9, 2026, with a ribbon cutting the day before, PR Newswire reported. The company opened a Stanford, Kentucky, location on August 6, 2026, to expand access for patients in Lincoln County and central Kentucky, Third News reported. In August 2026, PR Newswire reported that Speakeasy opened a location in Ward, Arkansas, on August 20, relocating its former Pine Bluff facility.
