ANPT Inc. Will exhibit its MultiDetek2 gas chromatograph, built to measure trace impurities in ultra-high-purity hydrogen, at WORLD HYDROGEN EXPO 2026 in Goyang from November 4 to 6, the company said in a Nate report. CEO Byeongduk Nam announced the participation.
What the MultiDetek2 Measures at WHE 2026
ANPT will run an exhibition booth centered on the gas chromatograph at the event, held across Halls 7 and 8 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 for three days. The MultiDetek2 consolidates impurity analysis workflows that conventionally required multiple separate analyzers into a single compact system, and the company said it reaches detection sensitivity precise enough to classify hydrogen grades and certify purity levels. The instrument is engineered for quality verification and purity management across hydrogen generation processes.
The system integrates the PlasmaDetek2 plasma emission detector, which enables parts-per-billion measurement of argon, oxygen and nitrogen, components the company said are typically difficult to analyze because of matrix interference from hydrogen. It operates without the hydrogen traps or permeation membranes commonly required in conventional gas chromatography, which the company said lowers operating expenditures and streamlines maintenance.
The analytical configuration has five channels converging into three plasma emission detectors. Methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, non-methane hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and argon are separated and quantified in designated channels using the manufacturer's proprietary ArgoTek column for argon separation, and each detector carries optical filters designed to block the background hydrogen matrix.
ANPT holds exclusive domestic distribution rights secured through a licensing agreement with a specialized Canadian gas chromatography manufacturer, and it provides analytical instrument supply and engineering services. The company also designs, manufactures and supplies analytical instrumentation and continuous monitoring systems for semiconductor gases, air separation unit plants, specialty gases, ambient air analysis and petrochemical refining.
