Epic Games Gives Away Galaxy Kart on Its Android App Through November 5

Epic Games is offering Galaxy Kart free on its Android app until November 5 at 12h Brasília time, the company said. Estadão reported the giveaway on November 1. Claimed titles stay saved in the user's account permanently, as with the weekly free games on PC.

How the Galaxy Kart Giveaway Works

Galaxy Kart is a futuristic arcade racing game set on tracks filled with curves, obstacles and science-fiction visuals. The title brings together different drivers and vehicles, each with its own characteristics, in races that call for quick reflexes and command of the routes. The game also supports virtual reality for players with compatible equipment.

The Epic Games app is not distributed through the Google Play Store. Players download the installer from the Epic Games Store website in a phone browser or on a PC, where a QR code downloads the executable. A device may warn that the file is potentially dangerous because the app is not on Google Play; the guide says to tap "Baixar mesmo assim" to continue, finish the installation and log in to claim the game.

Epic's Android Store Under the Google Settlement

Epic Games' Android distribution sits alongside a regulatory change recorded by akta.pro company records: in June 2026, Google began implementing its antitrust settlement with Epic Games, allowing alternative payment systems and third-party app stores on Android, with developer fees reduced to 10% for the first $1 million in annual earnings, effective June 30, 2026. The same records list Epic Games' valuation at $31.5 billion, up from $28.7 billion a year earlier following the $2 billion investment from Sony and KIRKBI in April 2022.

Earlier Free Games on the Store

Epic Games Store released Sorry We're Closed as a free game available until November 5, Estadão reported on October 29; the horror-survival action title from à la mode games follows a woman facing supernatural creatures. On October 22, Estadão reported that Home: A Unique Horror Adventure and Sker Ritual were free until October 29. Exame reported the same day that the Android game Agent A: O Enigma Disfarçado was free until noon on Thursday, October 22.
