Smylo's Plans for the ₹30 Cr Round

The D2C cat food startup is likely to use the fresh capital for new product launches, research and development, and setting up a manufacturing facility, according to Inc42. The split between equity and debt could not be ascertained, though the sources said equity would account for the majority of the round. Inc42 said it had reached out to Smylo for comment.

Smylo was founded in 2024 by former Titan Capital executives Abhishek Agrawal and Kartikeya Gupta. The company offers cat food it claims is preservative-free, high in protein, and made from fresh meat, with a portfolio spanning wet food, dry food, and broths for kittens and adult cats. Besides its website, Smylo sells through ecommerce marketplaces and quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit and Zepto.
