Polaris and RZR Factory Racing unveiled the RZR Pro R Factory Boost at Camp RZR at Glamis Imperial Sand Dunes on October 30, 2026, a race machine delivering up to 400 horsepower that starts at $200,000 US MSRP. PR Newswire published the announcement.

Inside the RZR Pro R Factory Boost

The vehicle is designed and developed by Polaris engineers and built in Roseau, Minnesota. It joins rather than replaces the existing Gen 2 RZR Pro R Factory, giving racers a second purpose-built option in the Polaris race lineup.

A race-tuned, turbocharged ProStar Fury 2.0L four-cylinder engine produces up to 400 horsepower. The reinforced chassis has a wheelbase extended by 6.5 inches to a total of 111 inches, and the cab is two inches wider than before. A 45-gallon (170-liter) fuel cell replaces the previous generation's 34-gallon system and extends range beyond 200 miles. The MoTeC electronics package adds an upgraded M150 ECU and dual power distribution modules, and three-inch internal bypass DYNAMIX DV Live Valve shocks carry upgraded one-inch shock shafts.

"With the RZR Pro R Factory Boost, we're building on that success with a clear goal: to keep pushing the boundaries of performance and give our team and customers every advantage to continue winning at the highest level," said Alex Scheuerell, Polaris' Director of Off-Road Motorsports.

The RZR Pro R Factory Boost is available to order now in limited quantities through SCI Distribution, LLC, an exclusive distributor, with the first order window closing February 15, 2027. Polaris will produce the vehicle while SCI manages sales and post-sale customer support. Buyers can submit inquiries through Polaris' model page.

Polaris Partnerships on the Record

According to akta.pro company records, Polaris announced a strategic co-development partnership with Forterra in April 2026 to build the MESA modular autonomous ground vehicle on a modified Polaris Ranger XD 1500 chassis, integrating Forterra's AutoDrive autonomy stack and Vektor mission modules. The same records list a June 2026 partnership with the Foundation for America's Public Lands funding over $700,000 across four states, with Polaris contributing $350,000 matched dollar-for-dollar by the Foundation.

RZR Racing Moves Before the Debut

Polaris signed off-road champion Kyle Chaney to a multi-year deal with RZR Factory Racing in October 2026, where he will drive a Polaris RZR Pro R Factory at King of the Hammers and select U.S. off-road races, TradingView reported. Earlier that month, Polaris and the Foundation for America's Public Lands said they were awarding 10 grants totaling over $500,000 for off-highway vehicle projects on Bureau of Land Management lands, Stock Titan reported.

King of the Hammers Debut

The RZR Factory Racing team will debut the new RZR Pro R Factory Boost at the 2027 King of the Hammers event, competing in multiple races.
