24 Hour Fitness to Open 45,000-Square-Foot Founders Club in Summerlin in Early 2027

24 Hour Fitness announced Founders Club, a 45,000-square-foot club in Summerlin, Las Vegas, opening in early 2027 with a $10 million investment. The company said pre-opening memberships range from $59.99 to $99.99 per month, with registration starting in November 2026, according to PR Newswire.

Inside the Founders Club Facility

24 Hour Fitness said the club at 9200 West Sahara Avenue includes 25,000 square feet of free weights and strength training with 12 platforms, a turf area for functional training, and a cardio and selectorized weight stack area. A recovery lounge offers hyperbaric chambers, massage chairs, wave chairs for cold therapy, red light saunas and pelvic floor chairs. The club also has a group fitness studio for Pilates, yoga, Zumba and BODYPUMP, private individual showers, a large sauna room and a cold room, a juice bar and social cafe, a full medical spa with IV therapy, a posing room, a glute and lower body training area, large video screens and 100 inch TVs, a DJ booth, and 24-hour access seven days a week.

Mark Mastrov, who founded 24 Hour Fitness in 1983, designed the club. "I've spent my career building thousands of gyms in more than sixty countries. This location and facility in Las Vegas is something special," Mastrov said. "Summerlin is one of the fastest-growing communities in the country, which makes it the right place to show what the next generation of fitness looks like." Mastrov added: "The people at the door should know you, there should be so much equipment that you never have to wait, and recovery and medspa are part of the plan."

The club includes recurring hosted programming such as morning coffee sessions, run clubs and recovery nights. Founders memberships open for registration in November 2026, with first access for people who join the Founders list at FoundersClub24.com, the company's site for the club.

24 Hour Fitness Modernization Spending

According to akta.pro company records, 24 Hour Fitness announced in March 2026 over $100 million in club modernization, redesigning 64 clubs, about one in four locations, by May with Recovery24 spaces, expanded strength areas and six Reformer24 Pilates pilots. The records list 235+ club locations across nine states and more than 113 million workouts supported annually.

Earlier Las Vegas and Leadership Moves

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported in September 2026 that Mastrov, executive chairman of 24 Hour Fitness, signed a lease for a new Las Vegas Valley location and planned to open it early next year. The Summerlin gym underwent a $1.5 million remodel, and the building is listed for $18 million. Athletechnews reported in August 2026 that Mastrov was appointed interim CEO, succeeding Karl Sanft, who departed eight months after steering the company's sale back to Mastrov.
