McKay Brothers introduced wireless transport services connecting U.S. futures and equity markets with cloud hubs in Columbus, Ohio (aws us-east-2) and Ashburn, Virginia (aws us-east-1), the company said in a PR Newswire announcement on October 29, 2026. Each route offers the lowest commercially available transport latency, according to the release.

McKay Brothers' Five Wireless Routes

McKay Brothers said the services let customers carry their own signals and other time-sensitive data between exchanges and cloud hubs. The release lists five one-way transport latencies: Aurora to Columbus at less than 2 milliseconds, Aurora to Ashburn at less than 4 milliseconds, New Jersey to Columbus at less than 3 milliseconds, New Jersey to Ashburn at less than 2 milliseconds, and Columbus to Ashburn at less than 2 milliseconds.

"Market-moving information needs to reach firms wherever they make risk decisions," said Tim Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of McKay Brothers. "These routes give firms operating across exchange and cloud environments equal access to fast, resilient wireless infrastructure."

Sister company Quincy Data is extending its market data feeds directly to the same cloud hubs. Its futures feeds from Illinois cover key U.S. equity index contracts and commodities, including metals and energies. The offering also includes Quincy's Market Movers U.S. equities feed from New Jersey.

McKay Brothers designs, builds and operates short- and long-haul networks connecting major financial centers, according to the release. The company said its services are available to all clients on a level playing field. Quincy Data distributes time-sensitive financial market data across major financial centers in North America, Europe and Asia.

The records also show a December 2025 partnership with the Go West Consortium to develop and operate a private network between Chicago and Tokyo, with transport services starting late January 2026.

The records list three funding rounds, including a 2025-10 round led by Optiver and Qube Research & Technologies, a 2024-11 corporate-funded round led by Citadel Securities, and a 2017-10 round led by Susquehanna International Group and XR Trading.
