EnergyLIB presented its LIB HomeStack modular home battery, offered in 16 kWh, 32 kWh and 48 kWh configurations, at All Energy Australia 2026 in Melbourne on October 28 and 29. The company said the system is built around layered safety measures. GlobeNewswire reported the debut.
LIB HomeStack's Layered Safety Design
EnergyLIB designed LIB HomeStack for medium- to high-energy households. The system uses LFP battery chemistry, cell-level monitoring of voltage and temperature, and pack-level fault isolation intended to keep an abnormality in one pack from affecting the rest of the system. Further safeguards include controlled pressure relief, a dedicated battery safety chip and integrated aerosol fire suppression.
The system is designed to isolate abnormal electrical events in under one millisecond, and its IP65-rated enclosure protects against dust and water ingress. Depending on configuration, system heights range from approximately 46 to 94 cm.
Leon Hu, B2B Sales Director of EnergyLIB Australia, said: "Home batteries are becoming part of everyday family life. We believe safety should never be an afterthought — it should be the starting point of every design decision."
HomeTower and HomeEase for Smaller Homes
EnergyLIB also introduced LIB HomeTower and LIB HomeEase to Australian audiences. LIB HomeTower is a compact, floor-standing 16 kWh battery for smaller and medium-sized households, with expandable capacity of up to 128 kWh and the same layered safety approach, including rapid electrical isolation and integrated fire suppression.
LIB HomeEase is a 5.12 kWh plug-in home battery for apartments and smaller homes, 181 mm deep, that can add storage to an existing solar system and expand to 20 kWh. EnergyLIB developed it for European markets, and it is not yet available in Australia.
EnergyLIB's Australian Distribution Build-Out
According to akta.pro company records, EnergyLIB entered the Australian market in February 2026 with the LIB brand and its first home battery system, distributed through authorized partners led by Autra Batteries Australia. The same records list a February 2026 launch price for LIB HomeStack from AUD $4,999, valid through April 30, 2026.
EnergyLIB said it has established local stock in New South Wales and appointed Autra Batteries Australia as a local retail partner. The company said it aims to extend beyond home battery hardware into intelligent home energy management.
