Knowband Integrates AI Chatbot Into PrestaShop Mobile Apps for Shoppers

Knowband has integrated an AI chatbot into PrestaShop mobile apps, letting shoppers ask about products and orders inside native Android and iOS apps built with its Mobile App Builder. PRLog published the announcement on October 29, 2026.

How the Knowband Chatbot Works in PrestaShop Apps

The integration joins two Knowband products: the PrestaShop Mobile App Builder, which creates native Android and iOS apps for a store, and the PrestaShop AI Chatbot Addon, which adds a virtual assistant that works around the clock. Knowband said shoppers can ask about stock, price or delivery and receive a reply in real time, and can also check where an order stands.

The assistant works with several models, including OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek, so merchants can pick the engine that fits their store. Knowband said stores that want a PrestaShop ChatGPT AI Bot can add an OpenAI key. The module detects the shopper's language and shows prices in the local currency, which Knowband said matters for stores selling across several European countries.

The Mobile App Builder supports PrestaShop 1.6 to 9.2.x, while the chatbot module supports PrestaShop 1.7 to 9.2.x, so the integration applies to stores on version 1.7 or higher. Knowband's earlier PrestaShop work includes the Advanced Security Module it launched on August 13, 2026, which PRLog described as a centralized solution to protect mid-market and growing online stores from web application breaches.

Knowband's PrestaShop Partner Record

According to akta.pro company records, Knowband is an official PrestaShop Partner Agency with the SuperHero Support Badge, and its One Page Checkout module was marked as "Favorite" on the platform. The same records list more than 60 Knowband plugins on the PrestaShop Addon Store and state that the company claims to have enabled over 10,000 clients. Knowband also released a PrestaShop Android and iOS Mobile App Creator Addon in March 2026, extending its no-code mobile app builder line.

AI Assistant Launches From Tencent, Bairong and Meta

Other companies have introduced AI assistant products in recent days. Bloomberg reported on October 29, 2026 that Tencent's WorkBuddy coworking tool served 32 million monthly users by fall. Moomoo reported that Bairong Intelligence launched its Voice AI ecosystem on the VoxOne platform in Shanghai on October 27, 2026.
