Clou Electronics presented utility-scale, commercial and industrial, and residential battery energy storage at All Energy Australia 2026 in Melbourne on October 28-29, and received an AS/NZS 3000 conformity report for its Aqua-C series. The Midea Energy subsidiary used the exhibition to seek distribution, EPC and developer partnerships across Australia and Oceania, TradingView reported.
Clou's Aqua-C Lineup and Australian Push
Clou Electronics showed an integrated portfolio covering DC- and AC-side solutions, with in-house power conversion systems, battery management systems, energy management systems and system integration. TÜV Rheinland issued the AS/NZS 3000 conformity report for the Aqua-C containerised products during the exhibition; the standard, known as the Wiring Rules, sets requirements for electrical installation design, installation and verification in Australia and New Zealand.
The utility-scale Aqua-C2.5H is a 5 MWh liquid-cooled system, and cumulative global shipments of the series had reached 12 GWh as of September 2026. The Aqua-C3.0 uses 587 Ah LFP cells at 6.25 MWh per unit, and the Aqua-C3.0 Ultra delivers 5.154 MWh per unit in a 13-foot enclosure weighing less than 39 tonnes. For C&I applications, the Aqua-E261 and Aqua-X261 series provide 261 kWh per unit in a modular architecture.
"Australia's energy transition represents a significant opportunity, and CLOU is here to be a reliable part of it," said Anthony Wang, Director of Product Management at CLOU. "Our portfolio spans utility-scale, C&I and residential storage, and we are ready to work closely with local partners to deliver solutions matched to the real needs of Australia's grid and energy users."
Clou's Manufacturing and Project Record
According to akta.pro company records, Clou debuted full-stack energy storage solutions at the 2026 European Smart Energy Exhibition under the Midea Energy umbrella, formalizing European expansion alongside existing US, Japanese and Latin American footprints. The same records list the 2025 commissioning of Phase 1, 200MW/400MWh, of the Mianyang Gangqing electrochemical storage station in Sichuan Province, and the 2024 commercialization of the Aqua liquid-cooled series.
Clou has annual BESS production capacity of 20 GWh at its Yichun facility and is expanding international manufacturing in phases in Indonesia, with long-term capacity targeted at 18 GWh. The company reported more than 23 GWh in contracted and delivered systems across more than 100 countries, including over 13 GWh deployed outside China.
